so if this was my set i would probs take a chance.
2 leds did glow with my fluke meter and then retested with 3 x AA cells and even the ones that glowed looked odd they seem to be dual led in 1 package as one lit on left hand side and the other on the right so i guess the 2 glowed as only one was working in each led package (if you get what i mean)

The good news is you have worked out how to test the LEDs. The not so good news is I am out of 32"strips only 42" +49" left in stock. but still have some LEDs in stack repair kits

At that price they are cheaper than led strips but harder too change i guess, but hey its worth just trying a couple and powering the set up and see what the colour/brightness match is like.

hi Vince i have ordered 50 theres only 2 out of the 18 leds that actualy half work theyre dual chip led's so i dont think matching will help much im aiming to replace all

dual chip? never heard of that in the diagram there two diodes in each of the leds that you have ordered so is there two leds in one sorry for questions as never heard of dual chip leds.

on the 2 leds i checked that half work one lights up on left side and the other led lights up on the right side and you can see its half of the led, yes as it seems there is 2 led chips in each led assuming this is how they get the 6v in one package ?

A lot of edge lite strips also have the two LEDs in one case, and also run at 5.5-6.00v but have an oblong case. and can be hard check as you need to just have a large enough voltage to turn them on without it blinding you

They make DUAL-LED in one package in many form factors with LEDs in series (6Vf rating due to two white LEDs is series), they also make DUAL-LED connected in parallel, Vf 3V.

                                            Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

                                            Hi,

                                            First post...

I have this TV, which was working, then suddenly would not turn on. It would get the clicking relay then flash up the screen for less than a second, off for a second then on again. Removing the plug the relay continues to click on and off for a few cycles, which I don't think it did before.

Left it a few months, then finally got round to taking the back off, and it worked as it should. So I tested various bits and all was well. Then turned it on again, and back to the clicking relay.

I disconnected the main board from the power...

Hello, I have a problem with my Samsung UE48H6410SSXZG with the main board BN41-02156A and the power board BN44-00709A. Everything seemed like this, the TV could no longer be switched on, the standby LED always flashed 5x2 times. Backlight was off and no sound from TV. Also made the flashlight test and there was no picture.

                                            I made the following tests:
                                            1. Disconnected the main board from Power Board = backlight works.
                                            2. Connected the main board and disconnected the T-Con = backlights does not work.

So I ordered a main board from Ebay also BN41-02156A but from...

                                            'Morning,
I get sound and picture when powering on the TV and its stays that EXCEPT that the left half of the screen will dim every few seconds then return to normal while the right side of the screen performs as designed.

Did the soft and hard reset options pulling the plug, using the reet option in the vizio menu to no avail.

I checked the mainboard - found some popped capacitors so replaced it - but that did not change the situation.

I checked the t-con board. It is getting good power. Then I removed one ribbon cable to see if I could isolate...

Hi everyone I have this TV which was dead one day when I tried to turn it on. I've had the cover off and there was just a pulsating/electrical clicking/ticking noise from the PSU. I disconnected the mainboard as sometimes this works to just fire it up with backlights on? That didn't help. Same noise. Then I disconnected the backlight cable from the PSU and the TV came alive. It appeared to respond to the remote and i'm pretty sure it's fully operational when there is no backlight connected.

However, I am in a dilemma.

I tested the backlight outputs with the lights disconnected...
