      Re: panasonic tx-p50s10b

      I have carried out the tests to this set,
      P7 = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,11, all 0v with power lead in. 9=5.14v
      p7 = 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9,10,11. all 0v when power button pressed 5=5.22v
      p7 = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,11 all 0v with 5and 6 linked 9= 5,14v
      p7 = 1,2,3,4,7,9,10,11. all 0v all 0v with power button pressed with 5 and 6 linked pin 8 goes to 3,18v for one second 5 and 6 go to 5.22v
      p25 = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,,10,11,12,13 all 0v and when power button pressed 9 goes to 5.22v
      p25 = 3,4,7,8,10,12,13 all 0v 1,2, = 15.53v when linked to pin 5 p7 5 and 6 go to 4.98v power button pressed.
      Relays click when p7 pins 5 and 6 are linked when power button pressed and also when pin 11 of p25 is linked to pi5 of p7
      Also green led on SC and SS boards are on when these pins are linked and power button is pressed.
      It is hard to tell which relays are clicking.
      All these tests carried out with plugs removed from A board.

        Do you have approx 200VDC at the SC and SS board power connectors? (Large 2/3 pin things)

            Re: panasonic tx-p50s10b

            Well it looks like your PSU is working then...

            I'd continue on the A-board. The PANEL_MAIN_ON signal for example comes from IC9003. (the other signal going to P7 pin 6 comes from IC1100 on the A-board)
            Both these ICs need a 3.3V power supply.

            Can you measure the two points marked in the attached schematic?

            After the diode it should read around 4.6V and the other one 3.3V.

              I assume i should remove the links before i connect to main a board ?

                Yes, reconnect everything as it's supposed to be. And remove any jumpers you made.

                  I am looking on this board and non of the resisters are marked up only IC's and Q's i have even looked in the schematics i down loaded from Tom's site on Aboard lay out.i am attaching pictures of both sides of the Aboard for you to see ?

                    This is common on Panasonic boards due to the high density of components - the service manual will have a sheet indicating the locations of parts on the board.

                      Just to make sure but I was working with the schematic from post 11.
                      If it's not the same you have let me know.

                        The nearest service manual on your site Tom was the TC-P50 G10 and i can't se a page in that manual Tom ?

                          When i downloaded from Tom's site the TC-P50 G10 was the closest i could see to this set?
                          The model number of the set is TX-P50S10B.

                            The "TC"s are US/Canada models, maybe worth trying Elektrotanya for an exact "TX" European model (with -B suffix for British model.)

                                Try the one I posted (and used here all the time :-) ) and just verify if the mainboard connectors and IC descriptions match. I don't think there should be that many differences.

                                It's probably mainly related to AC input voltage (PSU) and color systems...

                                We want to know why the microcontrollers don't send the signals to turn on the rest of the TV.

                                    On your service manual page 75 you have plugs A6,A25,A30,A21 on A board on my actual board i only have plugs A7 and A25 on the one side ?

                                      You only need to find out if it's the same PCB. It's most likely used in several different models with different configurations.

                                      Are you able to find the signals I posted in my post #65?
