so first I'll ask some friends if they can lend me the programmer to do the dump...
Thanks!

Okay, thanks for the clarification.
So, after all, are we sure I'm not doing any harm by "transplanting" the IC8902 (24C64) and SPI Flash IC8304?
I can't do the dump, I should borrow the programmer...Leave a comment:

The TX-P65VT50T service manual mentions different ICs, however......

Upload some picture, also IC8000, the component that should be resoldered (or replaced)...

so you think it's enough to replace the PEAKS EEPROM (IC8304)?Leave a comment:

Now I have not a picture of the board A without heatsibk at high resolution in the computer, I can make it if you want......

The 65-inch started to exhibit the flaw with this sequence I described.
I obviously checked the power supplies and they're fine.Leave a comment:

This "A" board typically has a defect in the progressive unsoldering of the IC8000 (2WS0250E), the TV's main processor. You can see the reballing procedure in this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbC9BP5plZg&t=346s
The defect initially manifests itself with a random shutdown, the TV stalling on the initial "SMART VIERA" logo, and finally it won't turn on at all...
The reballing procedure is expensive and that's why I wanted to use the working "A" board from the 50 inchLeave a comment:

Is it possible to convert the Panasonic plasma TNPH0988 motherboard from a TX-P50VT50T to a TX-P65VT50T?
Hello everyone, I'm back with a question about a type of TV I'm passionate about: Panasonic plasma TVs!
I have a TX-P50VT50T that's in perfect working order and a TX-P65VT50T that's showing no signs of life.
I'd like to "sacrifice" the 50-inch to bring the 65-inch to life.
From my analysis, the non-functioning board on the 65-inch is the "A" mainboard, which is unobtainable.
Therefore, I'd like to install the one from the 50-inch.
What IC changes would I need to make? Has anyone already converted this TNPH0988 for different... -

Ok I'll try. SPI FLASH is a WINBOND 24Q16CVSIG (IC9304). Panasonic calls it TVRS677AC.
A curiosity, have you had experiences of corruption in these SPI FLASH memory?Leave a comment:

I know that Panasonic (until a few years ago) provided the replacement of this card in exchange, which means that it was easily recovered, in my opinion.
The cost was 270€ excluding VAT...Leave a comment:

You can do the classic firmware update via USB but with the TV working, in these conditions I don't think it can be done without knowing "special" modes that only Panasonic can know...Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic Plasma main board repair (ST30 GT30 VT30 ST50 GT50 VT50),LED with 3 bli
IC8601 from the wiring diagram manages USB and Bluetooth, instead there is an RS232 Driver (IC3851) which comes out on JK3103, the black jack near the blue jack.
However, this jack seems to be used only to control the TV from a PC (see SM page 11).
I also attach the block diagram where there are the functions of the various ICs, this part of the SM is not "blurred", the writings instead of the wiring diagrams are mostly indecipherable...
I add page 10, where it refers...Leave a comment:

Hi Davi.p!
Yes there is a EEPROM (24C64F - IC8901), in the pictures you can find it just above the barcode label.
I have a repair guide found on the web of the US version of the "50" series but it doesn't go beyond checking voltages, it doesn't refer to the firmware......Leave a comment:
