Has anyone on here had any experience with the toshiba Regza 32WLT68 lcd tv at all ? I have just aquired one that there is no power at all getting to the tv the led's aren't showing and there's no activity at all. The person who i got it off said it was working fine one day and she went to switch it on and there was nothing at all. I've read about the standby fault and replacing the IC420 on the signal board but i'm suspecting that isn't the problem and was wondering if anyone else has had any problems with bad caps on the power supply board or elsewhere and could point me in the right direction with it. Ive sourced a power supply board online and i'm currently waiting for delivery.

Re: Toshiba Regza 32WLT68 lcd tv
yeah there's no activity at all none of the front panel led's are lit when plugged into the mains i've ordered a power supply board which should be here on wednesday/thursday so we'll see if it's that and if not back to the drawing board. I've had a look around the all the boards and i can't see any bulging oe leaing caps anywhere apart from one that was cracked which i've replaced and it still won't power up. The cap i replaced was a R331k 2kv which is shown in the attached photos this was the only one i could find that was damaged.Comment

Re: Toshiba Regza 32WLT68 lcd tv
Pictures of the main board are not sharp enough - what voltage do you get at the big cap
(CARE high voltage 400v) If you are lucky you may be able to test this on the pads where
the second BIG cap is not fitted. If no voltage there then you need to look at the Bridge Rectifier. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: Toshiba Regza 32WLT68 lcd tv
That is the snubber cap for that STR SMPS IC.
We will need much much better pictures of the whole back side of the TV, the whole top and bottom side of the power supply board.
More likely that the fusible resistor for feeding the B+ to the SMPS IC is blown.Never stop learning

Re: Toshiba Regza 32WLT68 lcd tv
Selldoor I thought that just put the set into standby mode that won't restart ? and i would of thought there would still be led lights showing on the display ? on this one there's no lights or anything so would the ic 420 fault also cause that scenario too ?Comment

Re: Toshiba Regza 32WLT68 lcd tv
I need the pictures of the whole board so I can see the board lay out to figure out the function of each section of the power supply.
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attach...6&d=1421010025
I see black round fuse (the label next to it shows 250V F3.15A/T3.15A) in the standby power supply section.
Good clear pictures are important to me to figure what is going on, I do not have the board in front of me to look, without good pictures as I requested it will do me no good to help.
My post 12:
"We will need much much better pictures of the whole back side of the TV, the whole top and bottom side of the power supply board."
There are MANY boards in this TV.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by sam_sam_samI did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow
This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

by m1ch43lzmHi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic... -
by SoulzinkHi everyone,
I am trying to fix a samsung washinmachine power supply main board.
I already replaced it with another one to fix the machine but i want to try understand the issue with the old board.
Therefore i hope to be able to get some help to explain what to check in order to troubleshoot.
The power supply board reference is the following: DC41-00189a

by NicktronicHey everyone,
This power supply board is hard to find but there are repair kits available. This board had a blown fuse, FP801S, blown PFC MOSFET, QP802CS and ceramic cap, CP809. I replaced them with parts I already had and tested the rest of the parts that would've come in the repair kit and they were fine. I powered the board up on the bench expecting, in typical Samsung power supply board fashion, to see all my output voltages but, nothing. 0 volts on CNL801, CNM801 and CNT801. The only thing I have is 170vdc on the filter caps. No standby voltage either.
