    started a topic Lg 49ub850v-zd

    Lg 49ub850v-zd

I have aquired an LG 49UB850V-ZD 49" led smart tv that will not power up all i'm getting is 3 red flashes when I attempt to power it up. I have so far changed the ususal suspects i.e power supply board and T-Con board and i'm not getting anywhere with it and I'm starting to suspect the problem may be the LED strips themselves are causing the issue. Has anyone else had any similar problems with this LG Model ?

I have a Netgear GS524PP unmanaged switch which is powering on and the fans kick in and it also looks like the PoE side is powering up but I can't seem to get a connection to the data side of the switch.

  • Behringer DJX 750 No power

Hi has anyone got any experience with audio mixers ? In particular Behringer audio equipment ? I have a Behringer DJX 750 mixer which recently died I've opened it up to investigate and the only thing I managed to find was a blown 104M ceramic capacitor C15 which I have replaced with new and still no power to it at all. I read somewhere online in a forum from a google search and found that cap C24 which is a 1000uf 35v could also be the problem. Is there anything else I could have missed.

  • Re: Denon DCD-810 not spinning up

I think i've got it sussed down to a pair of bad transistors D1274 and D1913. The D1274 had come away from the board so I re soldered it and switched on and it spun briefly so it looks like i'm gonna be ordering a pair of those from ebay and as for the service manual the only one I can find is in german and my german is a bit rusty to be fair

  • Re: Onkyo TX-NR525 Bad Caps???

You'll need to use some liquid flux under the ic chip if you are attempting a reflow or the solder balls will all stick together

  • Denon DCD-810 not spinning up

Hi I have recently aquired a denon dcd-810 cd player the guy I got it from dropped it and damaged the cd tray it was working beforehand I have got it home and opened it up and took a look at it and got the tray mechanism working again so it loads and unloads discs but i did notice the laser wasn't lighting up upon insertion of the tray there was no activity at all from any of the motors apart from the tray motor. I have had the tray out and have tested both the spindle motor and the worm drive independantly from the board in the player and both work fine using a 5 volt supply yet it doesn't seem...

I've found a board at uktv parts for same sort of dough mate just incase i need to but if i can get hold of the correct firmware then that would be a bonus like.I mean the tv itself only stands me at a fiver so far for the price of the caps i've had to replace it would be shame to have gone to that trouble to have to replace the whole board just because of lousy firmware lol...

  • Help ! Blaupunkt 32/147i

Hi could anyone shed any light on this blaupunkt 32/147i-gb-5b-hbkup-uk set i have aquired. Basically the guy i got it off had a blackscreen with sound fault and he's read on the internet about a fault with the ic and proceeded to to try and flash the firmware to try and fix it himself and it hasn't worked for obvious reasons being the mainboard had 3 blown caps one bulged and popped (33uf 200v) and 2 leakers at (100uf 63v) which since i have had the set i have replaced and now the screen lights up ok. The problem i have now is the flash he's done has turned the picture upside down and the only...

  • Re: Acer AL2416W lcd monitor thick black line down side of screen

Tab bonds are intact and i've cleaned the ribbon cable even though they haven't been apart after i soldered the new caps on the inverter board only the back plastics and metal shield was removed to get into it not stripped right down. So i don't know where the fault could lie now other than the mosfets or the logic board but upon inspection the caps look fine everywhere else none bulging and no leaking electrolytes anywhere.

  • Acer AL2416W lcd monitor thick black line down side of screen

Hi I need some help or advice on an Acer AL2416W lcd monitor the caps have all been replaced on the inverter board and it now works but it now has a 1 inch line down the side of the screen somwtimes it's solid black and sometimes it's all scrambled and when the monitor gets warm it sort of gets transparent and you just make out the icons and clock in the corner. the line is present as soon as the monitor comes on and if you tap the side of the screen it flickers and changes from solid black to like a scrambled mess. Has anyone come across this before and does anyone have any ideas or thoughts...
