Problem with PSU on LG TV

Hi guys i am having an issue with a LG 42LD450 tv right now. when you switch tv on the power light goes blue and screen goes on almost instantly then backlight goes out again but then as tv starts up backlight goes back on before shutting off to standby. the board in this tv is EAX61124201/15 and i had another lying around so checked tv with that and seems to work fine but i need the board for another tv so is there any way i can repair this board, im guessing it has something to do with the inverter part of the PSU just unsure which part/s

any help would be grateful

Put the board back in, unplug the power cable to the backlight inverter board and see if the TV stays on (without the backlights working of course). The LCD still should work, you may need a good flashlight.

Unless the psu has a fault and is shutting its self down I doubt unplugging the backlight will have much affect if any.

Looks like there is a repair kit for these 8 or 9 caps (small ones)
Suggest post good clear pictures front and back of your board - You have been on here long enough to know that is the usual starting point?

Budm that is an exact match. i seen the repair kit on ohmsupplies repair kit229 but by the looks of the board the caps look absolutely fine. will get a picture up.

I need good clear pictures of the bottom side of the board, straight shot of the whole board, and then in multiple small sections.

sorry i took so long getting back, ended up just swapping PSU with the one i had that was working.

Hello,I need some help with this power board I have the same EAX61124201/15 on my lg 42ld490 .
I have changed the fuse and 2sk3868 (used 2sk1507) was shorted.

After changing the fuse and mosfet tv has the same fault standby red light flashes slowly .
I have only the 3.4v present.
