    Samsung LE32B530P7WXXU No Power

Hi all, I have here a 32 inch samsung tv which is showing no red standby led when power cord is connected, I tested the connector which supplies power to the main board and getting no voltage on any pin, both fuses on power board tested ok, i am geting 233.2 ACV at the first fuse and 130 ACV at the second fuse, I have tested all mosfets and diodes using atlas dca55, all caps on cold side of the board are also good. Only problem i can see is a small crack on the power board near one of the transformers but it does not pass through any traces, Not sure what else to test now.... Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

no voltages on DC side of power board, I am getting 240 and 130v on the AC side of the board at both fuses

Do you get HIGH voltage DC on the BIG CAP and if not have you tested
          the bridge rectifier

Yes you could have a problem with the bridge rectifier you need to test at the main caps. if you have voltage is the main caps I would start checking the 5 volt standby supply rail
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

You dont need to - voltage from the bridge goes straight to the BIG CAP so it must be ok.

is there voltages marked on power supply at the connectors?, which are the cables going out from the power supply.

keep in mind only touch what your testing cuz of high voltage on primary side.

test both fuses again with the TV unplugged, DMM in the ohm scale. I just find it kind of fishy having 130V on that other fuse that feeds the PFC, but that depends on where the ground lead was. Check diodes and fets for shorts with DMM in diode mode.

That is because he is not using the correct GND point for measuring the Voltages on the primary side, that second fuse is for B+ feeding the main transformer.
There is label for the connector on the bottom left of the board where he should list the Voltage readings of each pins for us to know what he is getting, the SCH also shows the pinouts.

Its not really clear enough - can you retake it - get it near a window for more natural light
and no flash.(adjust the camera for low light?) If you cant do the full board better try for the top right across to where is says "COLD" that will give us the connector and the labelling.

try unplugging the cable from the power supply to the main board, see if the backlights come on, not sure if you described weather they come on or not.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                                          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Assuming...

Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock

I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

Issue: No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

Short answer: replace main board and power board
Technical answer: replace main board and Q306 & Q307 on power board.

                                          Long answer:

TV wouldn't turn on. Power switch was fine which means the main board isn't processing the power on signal. Replaced main board. TV turns on now but randomly reboots. Bad main board? EEPROM? Tried to pull main board and got a shock touching the corner of the board. That's weird. C334 (450V 10uf) capacitor is still holding a high charge....
