I just replaced the T con board and lines still exist. They are constant, they do not move or ghost. They take up most of the display, more toward the right and get faint as they go left. Any Ideas?

Have you checked the tab bonds on the display? -

I take that back. I don't think the tabs would be bad here yet.Comment

Re: Horizontal greenish lines on Samsung UN55D6050
I checked all tabs. Here is what it looks like. Lines do not move position but seem to flicker. Power board checks out. Tested all components on it. Nothing but clean power. Working upside down sorry about the pictureAttached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Re: Horizontal greenish lines on Samsung UN55D6050
Similar symptoms have been seen before and are sometimes caused by failed panels (not tab bonds, just plain old panel failures, the driver chips on the tabs failing.) Worth checking T-con for obvious faults, may be worth swapping for 55" screen but hit and miss as to whether it'll fix it.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Horizontal greenish lines on Samsung UN55D6050
Also hard to see but on one of two ribbons from the t con to panel, there is a pin or two that seem to have been damaged but all pins checked to be okay with the meter and when I swapped the two, nothing changed. My next guess is main board or bad panelComment

I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

then it started to show the ghosting white image.
I started using the tape method, but this tv does not have a T con board and it has only 1 ribbon cable from main board to the tv panel.
it has 3 thin small boards at the bottom of the... -
by RubenlilyHello,
First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:
I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.
I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.
I'm no expert but I've done the tape... -
by x_orange90_xI posted about this previously but didn't get any response, and I have some troubleshooted a bit so I have more info.
The screen is full of horizontal "gaps" or lines that distort the picture badly, and after about 10 seconds of powering it on the screen starts to fill with red vertical bars that take on the horizontal pattern. After the screen filled with the red bars, they instantly vanished and then slowly started to reappear. I initially thought it was tab bonding failure, but after getting down to them and pressing each one I find zero change in the picture. I went... -
