I did this repair on Vizio and got free SP1064E from littlefuse sample request (USA). Couldn’t find on AliExpress. None in my salvage buffer boards pile. Mouser was only other option I found.

at my post #22 i wrote scrap it, why i did , we are talking on gate transistor inside the glass panel, its the always the main problem to let ESD diode get difect, ESD are just protection, remove them from buffer TV will work, but we still have the gate play crazy,,, lets go over all posts about same ESD issue ir replaced or just removed... did their TV still working ?? i have big doubt ..

Very interesting Diah, that does make me wonder if they are failing again after replacement and or failing if left off.

I have 2 Vizios with ESD replacement fix. The TVs get very light usage. I will update results in a few months.

TV is fixed, thanks to all. Replacement of diodes were little bit tricky, I used microscope, but finished and working.

                    Hi Halen,
If the set does damage those ESD devices again, will you let this forum know. I am curious on the outcome.

                    Regards

Alright so you had to change the layout, can you at LEAST put the country of the original poster. So we don't have to guess where they are and what mains electricity they use?

Oh my bad, guess halen just didn't bother to list his area of residence.

Sony 8K XBR-75Z8H White Screen Vertical Bars Tcon Code. Help Needed🙏
                          by Daren87
                          Hello everyone,

I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the...

MacBook A1990 vertical stripes on external screen
                          by ahoonid
                          Hey everyone,

I bought a MacBook A1990 with no screen. I bought it knowing the motherboard was defective but wasn't sure what the problem was until I received it. It actually turns on but as you see from the attachment, it has vertical stripes, on an external screen!!

The board is neat. Not opened before for sure. Just a little dust, nothing more.

Recovery using wifi can be opened, as can also be seen in the photo but it doesn't go all the way through after connecting it to a wifi. It downloads the initial Recovery files but never completes the rest of the...

                          Hisense 65R6E3 double-image / horizontal strips - TCON?

Hello all. 3 years back, with your help, I replaced the LEDs on this TV. It's been working great. Yesterday, I turned it on (garage TV), and it has blurred horiz / vert lines as you see in photos. Definitely no physical hit or damage. Top 1/6th of the screen is perfect. Could it be main / TCON board? No tabs to cut on this model. Thank you...

KD-55X9005A Vertical Stripes Right Side Mirrored Vertically At Start
                          by kevinman
Hi, TV boots with distorted image right side mirrored verticaly sometimes vertical stripes making off-on turns picture to normal and "perfect" (netflix image) that I highly doubt this is something related with t-con signal lines?? rather it looks software corruption bad mem chips voltage collapse or an intantaneous fault with fluctuating powerboard voltages?? As it happens usually when TV is cold sometimes fault comes back after a full day use should I check powerboard voltages with oscilloscope??

Looking for Vertical IC for RCA Chassis CTC159L CRT
                          by mopenstein
I'm working on my 27" RCA console TV built in 1990. It had some vertical rollover for a few months that went away after being powered on for a few minutes. I had been meaning to open it up and check it out but it had total vertical collapse before I could get to it.

Now that I have the time I opened it up and found a couple leaky capacitors around the vertical ic. So I figured the caps went bad and cooked the vertical IC.

I got the caps out and replacements on order. But when I took out the Vertical IC I saw that the chip numbers have been almost completely wiped...
