Hi,
Just now my Samsung LC32HG70QQUXEN monitor gave up on me. On cold boots I get many vertical stripes going across the screen (see the attached picture). After it runs for 1-2 minutes those go away but there are horizontal stripes going across the whole screen no matter of the input and PCs I use. (couldn't take an picture of it since the image size goes to 20MB and the camera doesn't pick them up)
In a video about a 27" monitor with an similar issue the guy removes one resistor and supposedly the entire monitor goes back to life? For sure this fix is only temporary. Although I do not know if it applies to my fault.
Comments on this video also suggest updating the FW to the korean one from Samsung (commenter has the LC32HG70 monitor and he said the korean FW fixed it).
The vertical lines on my picture go away after setting Vsync to "best engine", but the horizontal are still there...
There's so much info contradicting the video that I do not know anymore what to try. Any ideas?
