actuality at Operation the defect will get hot ,
by DM diode ( PeepTon) do it 1 to 4-5-6 and reserve way like wise to 2 & 3. .. write the value on paper and compare all three reading .

the 1/4 of the tv with the "no picture" note is the one that has no picture and also the side with the buffer board that I was testing the tvs diodes on. I tested the diodes on the opposite side of the tv and have the same results.

then block CKV line on the U ribbon side which it was on yours hand... you have the pins NO of CKV printed on the boards... give try

2 and 5 pins are common (GND), you need to measure between 1 and 2, between 3 and 2, 4 and 2, 6 and 2.

good luck... even you succeed to have the set stay on.... you can track the line over the LVDS socket at MB.... T-CON on MB do funny things too..

75 RU series 6 & 7 was build on buffer boards 4 ESD Diode E5 with 6 pins, this what i have under my hand before.. they were not defect but at time i block CKV 2, was no reboot. from this point i always work on MB before i missing at panel buffer boards... one time was R 100Ohn besom more than 120K .. other one one cap was absolute shorted 0

at the end i want to say... if with out any Jumpers on FB test points... by disconnecting U ribbon on ODD Panels size only if you got picture on the rest clear... invest yours time on MB if the ESD are fine

Without a jumper on the FB and with the U cable disconnected, there will be no image, since the feedback between the T-CON and the panel will be disrupted.

he have double LVDS not one style. if this true only with FB connected come U ribbon then for me 99% T-CON on boards. or its spi firmware RU some things was better than TU or NU or MU

BTW.... his issue reboot... if one LVDS disconnected an no more reboot but no picture this will never tell Panel issue

So if tvs diodes check ok and not getting too hot, check the other things on that board, I see some caps and a resistor.

Thinking I recall a while ago there was a tvs diode problem even tho it checked ok with diode testing.

Extra whats? Check those 3 caps and the resistor, don't really know what else it could be, seems like it can be one of the tvs diodes, a component on that driver board the panel itself or a problem on mainboard as Diah mentioned.

                                            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:

                                            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                                            - it keeps rebooting
                                            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                                            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                                            Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

                                            Good morning.

the original board of this equipment is in reboots without giving an image or turning on the backlight, the board code is BN94-12926P (BN41-02636), I made a copy of the flash ic1603 and ic1604, dumps attached. I tried to put other dumps (from other popis models I didn't find this board) but without success. That said, I bought a board on ebay BN94-12926A, which in principle should at least give image, even if with defects, this board turns on and responds to the command but does not give any indication of image despite the availability of VHG and VGL voltages as well...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
                                            by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
