the problem returns when doing Windows updates, the solution I found was... go to the EFI partition, originally 100mb, delete the HP folder and respective files, and reduce the size of the EFI partition to around 40mb... the machine still tries to update the firmware but stays at the initial warning and reboots and continues to start Windows.... -
You were right, hardware problem, on the board, the primary power supply +12vsus was missing, caused by a failure of the BAT54SDW component in position PD8701, resolved by replacing it. Thank you...Leave a comment:

hello forum.
Machine entered the workshop with symptoms of not turning on, with no consumption on the energy meter, after inspection I did not find any signs of failures at the hardware level so I reprogrammed the two chips u366 and u367, the machine gave a sign of life, it started to give an error from "HP Endpoint Security..." but it was functional, after doing the last update of the bios through the HP website, it worked well until part 2 where error 7 appeared and stopped turning on, I tried the key combination "WIN + B" but without results ... if possible...Leave a comment:

Good morning. The problem is solved. After reading somewhere that it could be a memory problem, I opened the equipment and tested module by module. It has 4 sticks of 32GB each. I cleaned both the RAM and the slots with isopropyl alcohol and tested one at a time. In the end, they all worked and the machine is fully functional with all the RAM (128GB)... The strange thing about this and what still confuses me is that the problem of not loading MACOS and turning itself off only appeared with the screen connected to the equipment....

Good morning, I have one of these machines on the bench, model A1862, with the same symptom mentioned in the initial post, that is, the logo appears and when it starts filling the bar the machine turns off.
This symptom only occurs with the screen connected to the machine, and occurs after the machine's overall consumption reaches 210W.
Without the screen and using a USBC-HDMI adapter the machine is completely usable although the fans are accelerated. In this case, the machine's consumption is around 70-80w.
I'm currently considering replacing the power supply...any suggestions...Leave a comment:

good morning.
back to work. I photographed both boards and only modified the resistors on board A (ebay), the areas where I intervened are marked with a circle. No legible image has yet appeared, just vertical scratches... unfortunately I don't have a manual and I'm not sure which resistors to modify, if it's possible to have access to this information or the board's manual that would be great... thank you....Leave a comment:

hello again... Next Monday, when I return to work I will compare the two boards next to the TCON area, the panel in question is BN95-05417A 55S1AU0SN, the board I bought from ebay was, according to the seller, a broken TV. Have a nice weekend and thank you very much for your support.

My programmer for read/write that devices is the XGecu Pro TL866II-Plus, it automatically detects the flash parameters, such as manufacturer, capacity, ID, etc... I've been using it for a few years and without any problems so far, I don't think the problem should come from there.
thank you....Leave a comment:

Samsung UE55NU8005T , rebooting , no picture , no backlight
Good morning.
the original board of this equipment is in reboots without giving an image or turning on the backlight, the board code is BN94-12926P (BN41-02636), I made a copy of the flash ic1603 and ic1604, dumps attached. I tried to put other dumps (from other popis models I didn't find this board) but without success. That said, I bought a board on ebay BN94-12926A, which in principle should at least give image, even if with defects, this board turns on and responds to the command but does not give any indication of image despite the availability of VHG and VGL voltages as well... -
however, with the help of boardview I verify that the P_1VS8_PWRGD and 1.35V_PWRGD have a very low resistance (around 10 ohm) after turning off the machine. With the removal of the PU8300 the symptom of not turning it back on remains but with the removal of the PU8600 the machine stopped turning off or rather it turns off and then turns back on again, I have already ordered these components to be replaced, I hope for news soon.Leave a comment:
