the 1/4 of the tv with the "no picture" note is the one that has no picture and also the side with the buffer board that I was testing the tvs diodes on. I tested the diodes on the opposite side of the tv and have the same results.Comment

So if tvs diodes check ok and not getting too hot, check the other things on that board, I see some caps and a resistor.Comment

Thinking I recall a while ago there was a tvs diode problem even tho it checked ok with diode testing.Comment

Extra whats? Check those 3 caps and the resistor, don't really know what else it could be, seems like it can be one of the tvs diodes, a component on that driver board the panel itself or a problem on mainboard as Diah mentioned.Comment

by JJAAMMThis was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... -
by rui4892Good morning.
the original board of this equipment is in reboots without giving an image or turning on the backlight, the board code is BN94-12926P (BN41-02636), I made a copy of the flash ic1603 and ic1604, dumps attached. I tried to put other dumps (from other popis models I didn't find this board) but without success. That said, I bought a board on ebay BN94-12926A, which in principle should at least give image, even if with defects, this board turns on and responds to the command but does not give any indication of image despite the availability of VHG and VGL voltages as well... -
by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... - Loading...
