    MAIN BOARD 17MB170
lcd number main board came out of VES500QNDP-2D-N43

Edit asked buyer for a picture of lcd sticker i think his issue is a lcd and mainboard match problem

      1. It has no EEPROM. It only has EMMC. If you have the necessary tools you can change it, but it is quite difficult.
      2. You can use a panel profile, but with 17MB170 I don't think it is possible to save and rewrite the panel profile.
      3. You use a FULL software for the 17MB170 and the TV panel.

a question, the board i sold came out of a cracked screen set damaged when moving tv it still showed a full image on screen though, the buyer is now saying the cracked screen has caused a short on the mainboard causing the split screen image in the top picture i am saying its because his lcd screen numbers do not match the tv the mainboard comes out of hes tried a factory re set but cant get past the pairing the remote page is this also a indicator the lcd screen miss match is the cause.
the 23741628 numbers on each mainboard do match

Good motherboard worked with other panel code. Panel codes are different: VES500QNDP-2D-N43 vs VES500QNDH-2D-N41

the buyer is saying as long as this number matches VES500QN and this number 23741628 he beleived it would be ok do you know what the other number mean after the VES500QN thank you ie the DH-2D-N41 vs DP-2D-N43

Hello, I am having the same issue with an RCA 55" TV (RTU5540-B), I recently replaced the main board (AE0012251) since the original board was stuck in a self-diagnostic mode.
When the TV powered up I received a double image as seen in the attached photo. I tried a factory reset, but that had no affect.
Any suggestions as to what else I could try?

The software does not match your panel, just reprogram the spi flash, as I understand it, your motherboard is LDD.M3458.A138, if so, and if you have a programmer, then you can read the dump from your native motherboard and post it here, I'll try to restore the firmware for you.

you can often change the panel type in the service menu.
i have no idea how you get into it before you ask.
