Any pictures of it? is the A-board TNPH0829ME , TXN/A1LWUE?

SOS 10 can be caused by other boards too. The SS board is a common failure on these, can you check SS11 for short cct with a meter?

well I guess it depends on how bad you want an A-board. both will deliver, not cheap which is why I'd try and fault find it a bit.

                Do you have a mutlimeter?

must be labelled different to the UK flat TV picture but the ME-TP3 could be the clue as the rev I was expecting was ME.

They can have white stickers with the number or a 2 letter suffix stamped on the PCB or a table printed into the board listing all the suffixes and some jumpers which indicate what suffix it is.

We have 3 sources listing an A for this model as the same including 1 UK source so it should be correct or upload some hi res shots of it top and bottom using advanced, manage attachments , max res is 2000 x 2000.

Anyway do yo have a meter to check anything?

i have the Aussie model TH-P42X20A, pretty much the same, the A board can cause SOS10, I caused mine to do it and it was the cabling was corroded and shorted out the A - SN board ribbom SN20. I fixed it by replacing the 2 buffer Ics on the A talk to the SN and the ribbon also sends 5v to the SN board, so P5v shorted tripped the SOS10 at the A.

I'd be tempted to check for shorted Vsus at either SN2 or SS11 first.

Sure, i was going to suggest unplugging things, i like to back it up with measurements too.

                            So several things to try.

Disconnect 3 white ribbons at A, Disconnect SN2 (SN board LHS), SS11(SS rhs) and p35(PSU , feeds the C boards bottom of panel)

                            Power on.

                            Reconnect

disconnect SS11, see if SOS10 clears.

                            reconnect

                            disconnect SN2, SN3 and Sn20

                            Let me know the results

edit; don't reconnect straight away due to residual voltages on P2,P11 & P35, let it stand for 5 minutes, should really check with a meter. I've spiked those bottom buffers (c boards but a Samsung) and destroyed the Ics on them which means dead panel, no repair.

I reckon it would be rare, what's happening?

So did you try disconnecting those ribbons at the A and isolate power from the SN,SS an C2 board(P35) and still SOS10?
