Sometimes you need to break shit to fix it.... Thats why my lawnmower doesn't have a deadman switch or engine brake anymore

by shovenoseHi all,
I have a cheap rainbow christmas light set off Amazon which has this little power supply that has a button to change modes. I had a white set with the same power supply that I returned but I can't find any other rainbow themed ones that don't use this setup.
Anyway, the problem is every time you unplug them and then plug them in it reverts back to "Combination" mode which cycles through all these annoying tacky effects instead of going back to what you had selected or at least defaulting to "Steady on" which is what I want. So I'm thinking I can just...1 Photo -
by Francesc V.Hi:
i am trying to repair this Christmas lights from my parents. They are incandescent lights, no led lights.
I have tried with 12V a 24V small lights that I found in Aliexpress but is obvious that are not the right ones. They last microseconds connected. Do they blow because of Amps or Volts?
If I measure the Amps in the string........it's only 90mA. If I measure the Volts in the "green box"......it's between 0 and 190V, but doing a little bit of maths from the number of bulbs in series.......it's only about 6V per lamp.

Merry Christmas
I came out to work briefly today as well.
I'm not unhappy haha
I received a MacBook Pro A2442 water damage.
When I connect the charger, it keeps turning on and off and the voltage indicator blinks.
When the charger is removed, the power turns on and remains on with the remaining charge in the battery.
After submersion cleaning, the submerged Q5240 and UG800 (elc180 power ic?) were replaced.
Still, the symptoms are the same, so I'm trying to replace the charging IC, but... -
Hi there all, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Looking for advice, Need to restore/fix the damaged Acer Aspire 514 -54 power circuit pathways.
I am not good at reading schematics and have difficulty finding the board viewer schematic or simple schematic for damaged parts, but I have all the tools and experience for micro-soldering. All I need to figure out is which ends (from-to) and trace wires to restore lines.
Hope the pictureS are clear enough to see the problem...-
