Have you checked the fuse on PSU?

Like a plug type fuse if so there is not one.

There's definitely a fuse on there. Look for "AH 250VAC".

That fuse may be on the back cover where the power cord gets plugged in like the Polaroids..

yes i have noticed a fuse clear one ? next to where the power lead goes in to.

Meter on 200 ohms, across the fuse, report what reading you get, and refrain from using "no reading".

right just testing this clear fuse which has on it 6.3al 250v,is 00.4
