Hi Guys,
Wonder if I can get some advice on this please. The fault is a noticeable darker screen on one half of the TV. I have checked both arrays and they seem fine. I have swapped the led outputs on the PSU and proven it's not the LED's. There is a bad output voltage on one of the ports but seems almost like some kind of grounding issue or something. From TV chassis I get 60+ Volts on the positive of each string but if I measure across the bad one (tested on both arrays) I only get 2 ish volts. If I measure from TV chassis ground to the negative I get 32v. I have done a little video to...

LG 47LA620V Same LED Failing Back Light Issues
Hi All,
I need some help with this one please. I am attempting a repair on the backlight. TV turns on and flashes the LG logo so stripped it down and found one faulty LED. Replaced it and tested on an LED tester and the strip was good. Put it back onto the PSU and it lasted about 20 seconds before going out again. Same LED had blown. Changed it for another type of SMD one (same voltage) and it seemed fine. Put the TV back together but it was quite dim. Noticed it was in power save mode so turned it off and the screen was bright. Left it on for half an hour only to come back to the...

Vestel 17IPS71 and MP3394S Backlight Problem
Hi,
I having some trouble fixing a PSU fault on a TV. Basically the backlight would come on for 10 seconds or so and then shut off and I saw the voltage drop. On further inspection I found 2 burnt out led's on one of the 2 strips and replaced. The same fault still existed but I couldn't measure anything obviously wrong. Each string was roughly 35v and two in series was 70v tested fine with the LED tester. I went to replace the MP3394s but the board popped so I bought another board off Ebay as close as I could find. This time the tv powered up fine but still no backlight at all this...

Bush DLED32287HDCNTDFVP - Is this a screen fault or a Tcon Issue
Hi,
Trying to fix a bush TV. The Tcon is integrated onto the main board by the looks of it but before I buy a replacement does this look like a screen fault? The lines at the bottom are concerning me. I have check for shorts on the caps etc and can't see anything obvious. Nothing is overly hot and I've tried heating different boards and pressing down on the flex but no change in picture.
Any advice welcome. Thanks in advance....
