    Re: Sanyo LCD TV DP26649

What is the number given on those two mosfets attached to the heatsink?
It looks like the DLA001A can be replaced by L6598D if it comes down to it.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

A repair kit from Shopjimmy for no 12V /24V includes IC601, Q601, Q602, R619, R622 (both 0 ohm from Shopjimmy but both 10 ohms looking at the picture you posted. So I would check all these components.

I checked those R619 & R622 earlier, they measure 10Ω exactly, i dont know how to check mosFets w/ a Ω meter other than to look for dead shorts/opens
and it's outta my league on how to test a 16 pin IC
Jimmy's "shop" has always been a bit too steep for my bank account, I can get the whole board used for 28$...
I was just trying to repair this at component level, I'm not a board jockey fan, lol...to me, that's cheating...lolz

DB, you've been awesome here, put yourself in for a raise here at BadCaps...lmao
I truly do appreciate all the help here, wish i could buy ya a pint or 2

I still got 3 more TV's to look at (I hate calling these TV's anymore)
To me, they are Monitors with a TV tuner built in
...like "cellphones", I call 'em pocket computers w/ built-in phone,....

was rooting around in my many salvage bins, I found a L6598D from another sanyo PS board, I may put it in there for S's & G's to see if anything changes there, I'll update here when I do... thanks again DB!!!

Turn the power off to the set. To test the mosfets put you meter into diode mode --!<!-- and check between the Drain and Source pins and then reverse the leads. One way should be around 0.4 and reversing the leads should be no reading OL. This checks the diode across the mosfet.
It wouldn't hurt to change the IC if you have one.

Did you check fusible resistor R632? It is under the big heatsink so you will have to test it on the bottom side of the board instead.

Mystery 80s Sanyo cap - perhaps polymer?
                              by cj_reha
Hey all I've been working on a 1984 Sanyo 27" color TV which had a smattering of bad caps in the video switching circuit. I found this oddball little 1uF 25V cap which looks to me like an early polymer, but I can't find concrete info proving it. I know Sanyo was a big player in early polymer cap development and this is the time period where they were just getting on the market, so I'm wondering if anyone has crusty old datasheets that could help identify it and determine if my suspicions are right? It has the same epoxy end seal and font/formatting as some old stock Os-Cons I've got laying...

                              Sanyo DP5834 - Gray Screen
                              by toddw65
                              Hey All,

I have a Sanyo DP5834 that did have an issue with the backlights, but I disassembled the unit and repaired the LED strips by resoldering all of the connectors. Now I've reassembled it and I have backlights and sound, but a grayish screen. I can tap on the screen and see that it's on, but no picture. All voltages seem to be correct on the power board.

Based on the LCD Flat panel TV troubleshooting guide by Bud Martin, I'm thinking the T-Con has failed because I'm getting 12v both into and out of FP1 on the T-Con. Am I on the right track?

                              Thanks,...

                              Hi again guys.
Today I have a problem with this Sanyo VCR.
I bought it online, It worked sometimes.
I recap the Power supply and it started working fine.
Image is perfect and all digital effects too.
All of a sudden it stopped outputting sound. I checked for dried solders an all boards and soldered when needed, no fix.
I have no sound on playback, on tuner, or aux in.
On symptom I noticed is when it was working fine, the HI-FI led was on when I power up the VCR, now is OFF, A-B leds are on but when I put a tape they go off.
On one of the sound processing...

i got myself a complete Antminer T17+ with 3 dead hasboards for a very good price.... for parts i bought S17PRO boards.... i replaced all missing resistors and changed some asics because they were bad... but wihout a tester... i used the miner instead and changed firmware to awesome miner firmware for better and faster diagnoses via miner log and lower fan speed...

for my understanding and what i read on the internet these asics should be interchangeable in one chain but in my case i´m getting no more communication to none of the asics on all 3 boards. 2 of the boards weren´t in...
