somebody familiar with hasboard repairs? BM1397AD interchangeable with Bm1397AG ? S17+ and T17+

i got myself a complete Antminer T17+ with 3 dead hasboards for a very good price.... for parts i bought S17PRO boards.... i replaced all missing resistors and changed some asics because they were bad... but wihout a tester... i used the miner instead and changed firmware to awesome miner firmware for better and faster diagnoses via miner log and lower fan speed...

for my understanding and what i read on the internet these asics should be interchangeable in one chain but in my case i´m getting no more communication to none of the asics on all 3 boards. 2 of the boards weren´t in that bad condition. only lost some heatsinks rippin´out some resitstors and capacitors. on one there was 1 asic found and on aanother 43 asics of 44 per board... one was "zero asics" so i spent more time on the others...

aren´t these interchangeable? risky without a hasboard tester i know...
if i´m not able to fix the board i bought them for building a "hex Bitaxe" from them with few of the asics

    thx

      Mac mini M4 (A3238) Ripped Chip - Schematics+BoardView Needed
      by ee91137
      Hi,

I'm looking for assistance with a Mac mini (M4, 2024), model A3238 (Model MCYT4LL/A), which I recently purchased. The front USB-C ports are not providing power.

Upon inspection, I've identified that a chip and an adjacent capacitor have been physically ripped off the logic board near the SSD connector.

Could anyone provide information on the specifications of this missing chip? Additionally, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has access to the schematics and board view for the Mac mini A3238 logic board.

      Thanks for your help!

      SVOD4 PCB pictures + parts
      by 2elw
Hey, I find it very absurd that the SVOD4 costs so much and has zero documentation. I had no other choice than to buy it to unlock ECs, if there was any documentation or firmware avalible I could've made it or something simmilar. Anyways here are some of the most important parts:

STM32H723VGT6 MCU - It's a microcontroller by STMicroelectronics and its the whole brain of the SVOD4. It has flash memory for the firmware which can be updated by the SVOD4 program. Its also powered by the AMS117 which converts 5v into 3.3V. 7€ on AliExpress.
