I got myself a raspberry pi pico w for postcode readings. Better that buying some more expensive ready to use debug card for more money... Ist working perfekt at TPM Header... Board is stuck at postcode "90" in the meaning of (Boot Device Selection (BDS) phase is started) but still showing VGA debug LED
Found a breakout board with LEDs already installed so could safe some time for soldering led´s and resistors. it´s usable right out of the box after programming an put the pico and the breadboard together. its better to read the Codes via serial connection with putty rather...

thanks for your reply...
long ago since i was here. yes i tried/checked all pci express slots but i didn´t look for clock and reset signals yet.just ordered a mainboard post debug device as "mainboard medic " on youtube uses... board sill beeps 6 tiomes then 4 times fast... it´s not making any difference if i use a known good ryzen 3 2200G APU or a known good graphics card and a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU.... no pass VGA Debug either...
see this video......

Another Update... came to the idea to use a speaker.... 6b eeps followed by 4 beeps. on my experience a missing or faulty vga should bring 5 beeps. is this correct?
-4 short beep :Real Time Clock malfunction
-6 short beep:Keyboard error
how can i fix that ? 🙄

Yesterday i got myself a cheap APU Ryzen 3 2200G but also with this there is no chance to get rid of the VGA Led...
Is there some kind of special power rail i should look for? i don´t know how to diagnose that properly...

Check for shorts on mosfet and on driver mosfet.... the board is not willing to turn on... if u do it by hand the protection is not active.... what ahppened to the slot? did u exchange the power regulator? right part number.??... next time u should do it by applying heat from bottom.... so u are not mnelting any other compnents... in my oppinion this board is ready for trash... they are not expensive.... no dual channel anymore perhaps...Last edited by stormanimal83; 01-20-2024, 05:16 AM.

I really don´t understrand your question. did you have a look arround the board? there are minimum 2 or more circuits arround that are not rather the same they are exactly the same cause they are for the ram chips.... other question is how u wanna solder on a smd capacitor by not knowing that this is a capacitor.... smd soldering is not like "normal" soldering. u need special tools as knowledge and a lot of talent...
the card is old. thats not bad in this case because its still quite ok and the good thing is... the older the card is the higher the probabibelity is to fin...

Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro stuck at VGA LED, burning hot LED Controller MCU 1 under PCI slot...
Hey....
Board as written in description was stuck at VGA LED. common Problem wit these type of bords.... tried all the "standard stuff" like resettin... reseatin.... found out the LED Controller MCU1 = IT8295FN-56A geting burning hot under the last PCI Slot.. now i desoldered it cause there were only 18 ohms at the caps arround.... another aorus x470 in working condition with similar part and nearly same layout had arround 280 ohms...
my question is: why doesnt the board start know without this chip.... worked myself through the boardview but i can´t understand...Last edited by stormanimal83; 01-18-2024, 02:22 PM.

There was no amperage gettin into it... after some measurements i found out there was a loose component next to the micro usb port. in my oppinion i´ts somthing like a voltage regulator.... i need help by replacing the component marked with "BY" or "BV" . i´m not trying to solder it in again because its loiking bad. think its blown too...
can somebody help me?
