      OK -perhaps Rigg5766 can check I cant even spot that bit of board in any other photos. Here is the datasheet for the Mosfets APM2054N

        Yep, bad brown glue problem, should be removed before it eats up that Diode legs and also start conducting.

          More pictures to come soon, but in the mean time; What causes a voltage drop in a circut? Is this another cap that is failing or is there another failure some where else?

            Yes, that is Glue mine has the same, but I need to see if this 4.4 V could be the issue.
