Thank you friends. I measured the PQ101 and PQ102 at first. However, they were not shorted. When switched off, the PQ101 had normal resistance from pin2 to pin7, which seemed to be ok to me. Unfortunately I didn't have the MOSFET to test it. But as Sephir0th writes, it is a dual mosfet. I looked at the technical data and had an AONY36352 with the same parameters. It worked. So the PQ101 was actually defective. I had never had anything like this before.Thank you friends. NM-B471 Lenovo T480s don´t charging
Hi guys
I need help with a Lenovo T480s NM-B471.
The device works via power supply and also via battery. However, the battery is not charging. If I start the device via battery, the power supply is deactivated and the battery is empty at some point.
I have measured and found the following. When the mains adapter is connected, is VSYS= 20V, but this should be 15V. At the PQ102, which is responsible for this, I have 20V at the gate (pin 1). However, 15V should be there. Because the voltage is too high, PQ103, which should charge the battery, remains closed. I have already replaced...

I deleted the EC. After that, it no longer responded to pressing the power button. I read out the EC again and it was empty. The EC was not reprogrammed by the BIOS. I was also able to restore the contents of the EC. How can I check whether the EC is communicating with the BIOS chip? I was only able to measure voltages on the BIOS chip. Unfortunately I can't do anything with the values.
Pin1 3V3
Pin2 1V
Pin3 3V3
Pin7 3V3
Pin8 3V3
Can I measure it at all with a normal measuring device?
THX

When I open the EC file that was read out, I only see what is on this picture, except for the beginning. I have already started the device, so the contents of the EC should already have been updated, or am I seeing it wrong? Can I delete the EC and then see if it is updated? When I open the EC file that was read out, I only see what is on this ...

I have updated the BIOS. The behavior is the same, the device doesn´t start. The behavior gave me an idea. I have read out the EC, see picture. However, I can see in the HEX editor that only the first few bits are present in the file and the rest is empty. I don't know what such a file should look like, but that seems a bit too little to me. I have read that the EC content is also present in the BIOS file. I also opened the BIOS file and searched for the content (ITE EC-V14.6) of my EC. I found the same content at address 007A73C0. There seems to be a lot more data from this address onwards....

Dear friend. I respect the forum rules. I typed the serial number in my first post. See picture. This is in the name of the BIOS file.

However, it is the same board version v1.1 PCH, CPU, GPU are the same. Should at least start with the BIOS. So I would know that the problem is with the BIOS. I don't know what to do with the device.
How can I build a BIOS file from the manufacturer support files? After unpacking, there are three files:
AfuEfix64.efi 549KB
F.nsh 1KB
GKxMP60xN115_xmg.rom 13.312KB
My BIOS file has 16.384KB
I also have to transfer my SN somehow. Do you have a tip for me on how to do this?
I have posted the SN, this is in the filename.

XMG Core17 Product ID: XCO17E20, Mainboard GK7MR0R_v1.1_10L bios
I need BIOS for an XMG Core17 Product ID: XCO17E20, Mainboard GK7MR0R_v1.1_10L. When the power button is pressed, it flashes briefly and the device tries to start briefly, but goes off immediately. Battery is charging.
I have tested the BIOS "Monster Tulpar T7 V20.2 Bios Dump" from the startrek post, but it does not work and the behavior is the same. Here is a backup from my device.
Can anyone help me?

I need to correct a few things after further measurements.
I don't have to press the power button several times. Pressing it once is enough, it just takes a while until the start sequence is initiated. Then the device tries to start. I would say the GPU is fine, because the power controller briefly activates the GPU drivers. I can also measure typical voltages for a GPU on the GPU driver. I think this is OK after all.
However, nothing happens with the CPU. I think that's where my problem lies. I have looked at the CPU controller U3. The U3 is activated at pin37 via R565 of EC/Pin3...

I have taken further measurements.
I tested the functionality U104, U105, U106, PU1, PU2. These are switched via RUN_ON signal from the EC (U5 pin118). Signal is present and all work very briefly and supply the corresponding voltage.
- +5V
- +5VS
- +1.05V_CPU
- +1.05VS_CPU
- +3.3V
- +3.3VS
- 1V8_AON
- +1.8V
The strange thing is that these only remain active for a very short time, less than 1 second. Even stranger is that I have to press the power button several times quickly (10-15 times) to initiate the start. The device tries to start,...

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 17ACH6H. The device shut down normally and then wouldn't restart. Symptoms: After pressing the power button, only the power button lights up. Keyboard does not light up. Fans do not turn, CPU and GPU remain cold. 3V3, 5V, 1V8, 0V75 voltages are present.

I have made further measurements. I have noticed that when the power button is pressed, the GPU drivers Q166,Q170,Q171,Q172 and the GPU RAM drivers Q173 and Q177 are for a short time active (thermal camera). 3V3 is for a short time present on all drivers at PIN 20. I measure 0.8V at output PIN2+3+4. A GPU is already low impedance, but I measure at inductors L63,L64,L65,L66 =0 ohm. Only at inductor L67 and L69 (GPU-RAM) I have 32ohm. I would say that the GPU is defective, right? How low can the resistance of a GPU be? Under 1 ohm? However, when the GPU inductors are disconnected, the device does...

GK7MR0R Does not start
Hello everyone.
I have a GK7MR0R (XMG Core 17) The device does not start. When I press the power button, the device tries to start and draws 0.8A for a second. According to the schematic, the following voltages should be present in the connected power supply unit and these are also present:
+5VALW
+3VALW
+3VALW_PCH
+1.8V_PRIM
+1.05VO_OUT_FET
The battery is being charged.
First I tried to rewrite the BIOS, same behavior.
Another user had the same behavior and his chipset was defective. I also changed the chipset, same behavior.

Thank you tuyen821991. I have looked at the files. These are the files from the Gigabyte support download. I also have these, but the device does not work with these files only, because there are regions missing that have to be transferred from the original file. Not all areas are rewritten during the BIOS update. Can anyone help me which address ranges need to be transferred from the original BIOS file? Thanks to the communityThank you tuyen821991.

Gigabyte G5 KD Board 6-77-NH50HP00-D04-5C does not start
I have a Gigabyte 6-77-NH50HP00-D04-5C. The device does not start. I downloaded a BIOS file from another forum and installed it. The device started with the file, but cannot find an NVMe SSD in the BIOS. A data storage device on a SATA port or USB stick is detected. In the BIOS, the ME firmware version is 0.0.0.0. TPM is also not available. Here is my original BIOS. Can anyone help me?...
