Lets us see the good clear pictures of the whole chassis as how the boards are connected together, then the pictures of the boards top and bottom sides first.
Good pictures of the coonectors are also needed so we can tell you which pin to test for the voltages or shorts circuits.
Mkae sure they are good, clear pictures since we are trying to do long distant troubleshooting here.

Full model number of the tv and any board identification numbers including version will be useful

Some history of the set would be useful - owned for 2 years or found in a field makes a big difference. Have you seen it working? Also do you have a multimeter and soldering iron and can you use them.

Pictures are not big enough - they need to be as near as you can get to 2mb jpgs no bigger than 2000x2000

This is an exmple of what we need https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attach...1&d=1290283049

Content as per BUDMs post above

                Re: Viore power issues!

From the back of the TV, is the board on the left or the right of the screen?

One board is the Y-sustain and the other is a Z-sustain.

Both will usually have fuses on them, are any blown?

You are going to need a multimeter to debug this... you can pick one up for $4 from most good DIY stores.

the one with the finger is pointing at a bad solder job where its soldered there are two completly different components touching and theirs others on there touching in the same fashion as well with little "fryed" black marks around them the picture with the metal is the back of the screen theres a black mark that came from the pic where my fingers pointing.

Friend, at the absolute minimum, you need a digital
multimeter to fix these TVs, as Tom has pointed out.

You need to measure the voltages coming off the main
power supply. You cannot just tell by looking at them
                      if they are working properly.

A little burn mark on the bottom of the board is not necessarily your problem. It could have been, e.g. a "dust bunny" connecting between Vs and GND. You should post pictures of the top side of your PSU where all the components are.
