Thankyou kind Sir! Worked a treat. I just need to figure out how to program up a TPS65987DDJ USB-C/Thunderbolt chip that i had to replace on the board as it was 'fried'.
I dont suppose you could point me in the right direction as to what I woud need to program it (on or off the board)? (I have an Xgecu T76 Programmer which I only use for BIOS work, never tried anything else). cheers...Leave a comment:

hey guys,
i have been working on for days a Hp Zbook Firefly 14 G8 - mobo: corvette-605qa321330-mb-a01.
Doesn't Boot - only thing working is an LED flashing orange on/off, that's it
- have tried cleaning the Main bios (ME region) which seems to have gone smoothly enough, and have re-soldered it back onto the board, but then I spotted an almost identical Bios chip near the EC on other side, but I don't know what is needed to be done with that bios ?
- i have attached my original Main and EC bios's (they are both 32mb! chips)

Okay, I have had a rather shocking experience regarding "Support" for the Vertyanov Successor programmer...
So... i wanted to test out the Vertyanov Successor50 Base 3 on a Bios chip that was confirmed as readable by the software. But when I tried to do this using a chip-clip, i wasnt getting ANY pins registered which i thought was weird...why are NONE being detected , when all my other programmers did the job just fine ?
Apparently I then had join Telegram , just in order to get the software to use with it....mmm?...sounds Dodgy?).
There is also NO...Leave a comment:

i ordered one (since i got NO reply to an earlier post...) from them about a week ago direct from their site. (I had seen it on eBay, but it worked out cheaper direct)..
They emailed me and said it was being despatched on Tuesday this week by DHL.
DHL just handed it to me.
Just comes in a plain box with ribbon cables. No manuals , docs, so i guess i have go Googling for those.......Leave a comment:

Advice on newer EC chip programming eg. MEC5107-LJ BGA
Hey all, was wanting to know what cheapest option is for programming EC chips such as the MEC5107-LJ
i searched online and found such programmers as the SVOD4, Vertyanov Successor , and the RT809h type but didn’t see this particular BGA EC chips listed? So hoping for some advice here , cheers. -

Okay, I re-read the bios (removed from Board as I originally did) in both programmers, verified and saved bios files.
Compared both in hex editor and are identical.
Opened in ME Analyzer (latest version) and got the following;
Opened in AMIBCP ,and got the following;
Opened in UEFI Tool, and got the following;
