By the way TIMER pin for this OZ9926 is pin 15 as shown in post 64.
I was hoping that when you shorted out the TImer pin, the lamps will stay on.
i know it was 15 and 13 then got nothing dunno why i got 3 but i tried pin 3 and done deal...LOL oh well i will keep everyone posted on results of new boards i made offer totaling around 40 buxs for both boards... hope it works and not end up back to square one lol...we will see

oh yeah pin 3 was from that article that had a slightly diffrent oz chip ...13 was the first one you told me to short...then the actual diagram for the chip i have was pin 15 and i did short all 3 and 15 and 13 did nothing and shorting pin 3 lol killed it duhh oh well live and learn ......hopefully we can get better luck with the seiki i am working on, which btw got givin to me so i can take more time with it and man is that another perfect example of poor engineering ...been doing some research seems these sets hit the shelves yearly at sears for black friday deal for 200.00 dollars LOL!!!!!! this year they will have the 49 inch version deal for same price, and back light keeps grounding out on it ..will restart that thread shortly after i get caught up on some jobs i have....

ok boards arrived today and the new inverter board fixed the problem now tv works flawlessly....the power board was fine so the problem is definitely the inverter board, i suspect the fets and oz chip and may be possible its the transformer but never will know since i don't have a ring tester....but all is good now thanks....

                clock radio / radio lifespan?
                by shelby5041
                hi
ive got a modern digital clock radio approx 15yrs old

my question is how long can a clock radio or a simple radio last ss farcas operating hours?

since elec components have limited hour lifecspan i would imagine the radio or clock radio would eventually fail.

the reason i ask is because i have my clock radio on radio function 24/7 for the past 7 years and its still working fine....i leave the radio on ..never turn off past 7years...thats approx 60000 hours

it uses very little power just a few watts i would imagine that may have something...

Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED
                by STKR123
As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

                LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
                by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

                Then each time...

                Sharp LED TV flashing green 2x per second - LC-70LE735X, DPS-222BP, RUNTKA857WJQZ
                by beetle1303
Sharp TV flashing green light 2x per second at constant rate. Various reset methods do not have any effect on it. Search here and found flashing green 2x per second indicate bad power supply, which I am quite certain now.

I am seeking help with basic trouble shooting to find the short-circuit on the secondary side that I believe is the cause:

                The main PD connector:
                PD-1 (PNL12V) : 0.02V
                PD-2 (PNL12V) : 0.02V (fluctuating)
                PD-3 (SGRN) : 0V
                PD-4 (SGRN) : 0V
                PD-5 (UR13.2V) : 0.05V (fluctuating)
                PD-6 (UR13.2V) : 0.05V (fluctuating)...
