Re: Macgyver-ing LED backlights for Sharp LC-50UB30U
I don't see why you cant use led strips from other tvs just two wire per strip.

Re: Mangavox 50ME314V/F7 "Funai junk"
had until it started to chrip. had a bunch of shorted smd caps right under cpu removed and still shorted so cpu is toast now and gets really hot.. Another main on its way. it had AL+3.3V until we did that trace cut and forced on backlights which it worked for about 5 seconds then shut down and started chirping and cpu gets really hot. will report back when it comes in....Last edited by heavymachines; 11-21-2017, 04:48 PM.

Re: Vizio D650I-B2
The hottest device on main is Ic1 which is a LD1117AG voltage regulator only reaches 94 degrees f. other LD1117 only reaches about 74 degrees f.
Nothing smoking hot...

Re: Vizio D650I-B2
Looking like a main problem. Due to unstable voltages, but i want to be sure.

Re: Vizio D650I-B2
ok with main disconnected voltages do stabilize the ones present anyways i have no idea how to force this set on since it has a led driver board. interesting anyhow.
