What causes a dead panel? Short from a bad board or just bad luck from the circuits?

this is not luck subject... OLED are RGB micro LED in simple language... some get bad, but from my way experiences SONY / LG they handle this via firmware register and if it meant or not after use over 10000 hours the firm ware will register fault.. however there could be no fault...... after courts and claiming Philips OLED TV released binary ( i posted here ) to remove this action from boot... but other company didn't till now... so you can keep it in save place till this wounder happen from SONY

Great information! I will more than likely put this against the wall and list the boards. Though I am interested in what will happen with this Sony case. Where can I follow it?
