i should use the file direct?
my is 840 g8 and the file i see is 440 g8

It will remove the password,the model number doesn`t matter,it should work for all the HP 32MB EC bios.Read the README file

Well,if you really did use the script and Tiny Hexer properly and flashed the bios back again,you must have another password in the main bios.

I was able to install it and it work ok. but bios password is still there...
should i also flash the main bios?
because the passoword didnt remove

i am sorry,but i still want to get it right... i just flash the the main bios now and pass word is still there...
wen i run 440 g8 unlock,it will run well and it will bring back another 32mb.bin.bak...
i dont know if it should write unlock before i know it has work well... because it doesnt write that..

You should not run the script on the main bios,did you read the warning

This must ONLY be used with the 32MB EC NOT the main bios !!!!

Post your main 32MB bios and someone will help.

flash only this EC 2nd chip. it will promt endpoint security controller just ignore it enter. it will disappear in next boot.
next time use any hex editor fill with ff in this offset 00037000 to 000379df

thank you so so much... Password cleared.....Please can you guide me on how you did it...i will want to do it myself...Because i still have 3 more that i need to do and i dont want be asking much...
