Here's your Unlocked file, give it a try.
In the first boot go to Bios Menu and disable security options (Default).Attached Files----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Re: Extract bios password from EliteBook 840 G8 Bios dump, possible?
hello
i have a hp 840G8 with bios password 32MB chip
i removed and read the 2 chips U366 and U367 dunno which one is mainbios or EC as cant find no post about it,
cant use U366 chip on RCunlocker got the error 32mb chip!
so i tried other way patch the U367 chip i changed all the code as it shows. now computer boot fine after that i went to the bios and changed the boot and some other settings fine, but it wont let me change the security setting to the default in the first boot, it asked me for the administrator password, hard drive already removed.
so cant figure out what i did wrong or what i missed.
the original files and the one i cleaned in the attachment
any help will be appreciatedLast edited by SMDFlea; 03-26-2023, 01:11 PM.Comment

by traxformaniaHello,
I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).
But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.
I'm trying to reset my bios without success.
I tried :
-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries... -
by NopslideHello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....-

by outsiderHello
I removed the BIOS password thanks to the help of one of the friends of this forum.

The batch from which the password was removed works correctly but... after some time, the BIOS password is set again, I reprogrammed the batch with the removed password, it's ok, there is no password, I set my password, ok, I can enter the BIOS with my password but...-

by Habble7The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.
