Hello Maxpower3, no problem. Your help is always very valuable.Comment

Can it be the same problem with my P50? See above. It doesn't have a picture with any of the patched files, only with the original bin. I tried everything, asked for help but I'm out of ideas.Comment

I didn't know there were LPC lines here that I could use to get into the BIOS. I used that method several times in the past. I will give it a try here as well.Comment

I had to try a few times, but I was able to get into the BIOS with this method, and now the P50 board is finally supervisor password free. Thank you for all of your help! I wanted to leave a comment about the success for future visitors.

Hi, just wondering if you could share those pics again? I'm looking to fix my p50. I've already found one chip that could be the bios chip, close to the RAM, at position u5, but I'm not sure if it's the correct chip.Comment

Can't seem to find an Edit button, so I guess I'll go like this.
I just went for it, and it worked out. PW is removed, U5 is indeed the BIOS chip.
Thanks

"Is there a way to use a single master BIOS dump to unlock the Lenovo E595 Type 20NF with an AMD processor? I have around 10 units and it would simplify my work. I saw such a solution for the E495 model. Thank You for any helpComment

Are you using the original BIOS of your laptop....Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

Yes, it is the original BIOS, but not the same version that the laptop was shipped with. The current BIOS installed on the laptop is the latest one, version 1.80. The laptop was shipped with BIOS version 1.50 tho.Comment

Hi, can anybody tell me if i can unlock with this method lenovo x1 extreme 2th gen ? Type number: 20qw-s1hu15. I tried patching bios but when the laptop powers on with a modified bios, there is no luck entering bios.Comment

I've seen a few users reporting problems about "cmd closing imediatly after open the autopatcher". For those who are having this trouble, just try an older version of Python. I had the same trouble, but I fix it using the 3.13v. Glad if helps a little

by macabookHello everyone,
I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
🧩 Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
- External display (HDMI) shows

by jbonavitaHi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried
1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...-

by zeniusHello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...-

by WahazHello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....-
