Just for update, soldering a jumper wire to the nearest PP1V2_S2 ( pin 2 Non stuff UG280) and pin 1 RT621 solved the problem, fingerprint is now working fine.

I just figured out that it is a board delamination issue of the segment between UG400 and UT540. The resistance go to zero just by pressing down this area.
Seems that it is very sensitive in this area because I have took out and back UG400 on both boards for troubleshooting purpose.
thanks mon2 for your help....

I am getting mega ohm measurements between L8280 CT540 and on UT620, UT520.
it sound like trace breaking, but how is it possible to have the exact same resistance measurement and diode mode measurement on a another 820-02098 board ??I am getting mega ohm measurements between L8280 CT540 and on UT620, UT520.

PP1V2_S2 (BUCK8) is present, when I mesure were it should be it is there, UT620, UT520, UT540 PP1V2_S2 not present and TOUCHID_PWR_EN not present
As I mentioned the mac is working fine, only the fingerprint is not. I did a DFU restore didn't solve itPP1V2_S2 (BUCK8) is present, when I mesure were it should be it is there, UT620, UT520, UT540 PP1V2_S2 not present and TOUCHID_PWR_EN not present

A2442 TOUCHID NOT WORKING
I have an issue with a Mac A2442 , that had initially a short circuit on Q5800 after replacement it turn on without any other issue, only finger print not working. I follower the post " MacBook Pro M1 2021 A2442 Touch ID stopped working" by measuring in diode mode all SPI seems ok, but when checking for voltage i notice something strange regarding PP1V2_S2.
The chips UT620, UT520, UT540 are powered by PP1V2_S2 (according schematic and board view), this voltage is missing, and when I check continuity with PP1V2_S2 rail, found that it is...

The MacBook finally restored in DFU mode, it was my mistake trying to restore it while on recovery mode (blue MacBook image showing on configuratore 2). I entered DFU with keyboard combinaison and the restore successfully finished on the first attempt....

Thanks mon,
I tried a restore on DFU mode that fails with error 21, the power cycling is no more happening. I tried many times still getting error 21. According logi.wiki it's most probably a NAND issue like the case you shared on Rossmanngroup.

MacBook A2442 power cycling
Hi, having an issue with A2442 getting 20v around 200mA cycling every 2 or 3 second, same on every usb-c Port. No water damage. PP3V8_AON is 0.100 in diode mode and 100Ohm resistance to ground. When I measure the voltage it 3.8v stable that goes on and off every 2 to 3 second. When I inject voltage it doesn’t consume much only 6mA that is not a short.
Compared to similar broad diode mode is 0.330 and resistance in kilo.
I don’t know what to do next ?

Here below is the discussion I had with mon2 regarding this issue. To resume the issue have been solved by using A1707 display cable as suggested in logi.wiki

mon2 12-31-2024, 07:35 PM
Would you still have the original LCD assembly that was shipped with the machine? If yes, the remedy may be to use only the LCD (new) + old camera inside of the housing to retain the camera which is paired and also to restore TrueTone. That is what Master Liu noted for another repair about a week ago. Apple is working overtime...

A2141 issues after display replacement
Hi everyone,
I have replaced a broken display on A2141 with a good one, taken from similar model, now the image and backlight works fine. But the camera, the true tone and keyboard backlight is not working. I made some research on internet but I am still not sure how to fix it, according to logiwiki the A2141 display is compatible with all similar model but we need to use a1707 flex cable, so my questions are:
1-does the cable will make every thing work fine ?
2-Do we need to swap display IC chips from the old display to make everything work correctly,( I saw it on multiple video...

Thanks for your explanation.
I have 3.3V in pin 1 of the resistor and 3mV in pin 2.
When I check for short on PP3V3_G3H in pin 1 it start 28 ohm then increasing until 16kohm but sometimes it’s in Mohm. In other area it always high resistance
I decided to replace the U7650 and the resistance R7690 (in my case) now I have 5.146V and around 160mA in all USB-C. Then I checked the resistance to ground in PP3v3_G3H is 32 Ohm, everywhere I measure is the same 32ohm, which is a clear short that I have to find now. Thanks for your explanation.

You mean while I tried entering DFU mode? I tried with and without battery it doesn't help, the battery is completely dead 0V in both pins. I have followed the video on logiwiki same board with disconnected battery and he successfully entered DFU, but he say that he use external power supplly. Did it mean that the charger is not enough and need external power supply on 20v? https://youtu.be/e0jevSCQxGE
what about the question « I DON't understand why i don't get P3V3MAIN_PGOOD on pin 2 since I have the PP3V3_G3H_T on pin1 ? » is it due to a bad chip ?You mean while I tried

Thank you, let tell some details about my issue, it's a MacBook pro A2141 EMC 3347. not powering on, the USB C meter shows 5.162 V on all 4 ports and starts consuming around 70 mA than stable at around 60 mA after 30 second. All ports behave the same. No sign off liquide damage the board is looking very clean. The mac is not in DFU mode, I tried key combination and by forcing it on the board SWK003 no DFU mode showing either by charger or only from host (actually the batterie is flat)
My readings and symptoms are not exactly the same as the original post the power sequence stop at PMU_PVDDMAIN_EN,...
