I have a X1 Yoga 3rd Gen, Type 20LE. It will not boot with the original BIOS (Original.bin), which seems to be corrupted. With the patched original bios (Original_PATCHED.bin) it gets stuck at the logo screen.
With a BIOS dump from another laptop (Working.bin) it gets to the supervisor password prompt. With the patched working BIOS (Working_PATCHED.bin) it plays a melody at startup and there is no output to the screen.
Also tried a patched BIOS for my model from this thread (20LE_psw_patched.BIN) - gets stuck at the logo screen.

    Please help!

Hi, I have a small, silly question:
In the starting thread there is written, that this patcher works on Lenovo machines up to the 8th generation. Does it mean it really works with all Lenovo Models up to 8th Gen (also the very new ones) or does it mean with Lenovo Laptops with Intel CPU up to their 8th Gen. (Coffee-Lake)? I'm asking, because I have a Thinkpad E14 Gen4 with AMD CPU (Ryzen 5 5625u) and wanted to know if I could use this patcher, too. Thanks in advance!!!

i have another problem now, it won't boot from my drive, stuck on boot device selection, is this because i made the initial dump with SSD disconnected?

nvm, flashing another dump I previously made when ssd was connected made a trick

Hello ! I have a quick question. Where do I get my bios image from? From the Lenovo website? Or with a tool from my laptop? I used an X380 Yoga, but unfortunately I forgot the SVP. Thank you very much.

                                    Hello. I dumped the bios from a Lenovo X1 Carbon gen 5 model 20HR0022GE. CPU - i5-7200U System-unit serial PF10LR5E. System board serial L3HF66600DX. BIOS N1MET39W (1.24) 2017-09-27. Motherboard DX120 NM-B141 Rev 1.0 2016-10-27

Did a few dumps, all of them are the same, but fail on autopatching with:

                                    ./autopatch x1cg5_dump1.bin

x1cg5_dump1.bin is corrupted or does not contain a valid dump.
                                    There was an error... Aborting.

Am I doing something wrong there?

Hello, I did a dump on this exact chip, on a Lenovo X1 Carbon gen 5!
The Verify also passed without any errors and I think the dump is correct!
