Wow, I dumped the wrong chip! Could you give me a joker, what is the model of the correct one, because it is erased and I can't see what it says! And EZP2019+ says this:

Yep, it worked with that one. Thanks a lot for the hint, really appreciated.
          Code:
          ./autopatch X1CG5_WB25Q128.bin

Using UEFIReplace to inject 2 DXE drivers...

          Looking for volumes to patch...
          [1/1] NVRAM_EfiSystemNvDataFvGuid (checksum 2609h):
Found volume at offset 800000h (checksum 2609h)
          Replacing volume.

          Done.

          PATCH FILE: X1CG5_WB25Q128_PATCHED.bin

          Good luck.
Will now try to write it back.

              Hi,

I did the autopatch for my T470S and when I turn on the laptop it plays a melody once and screen is back. Please see my original and patched BIOS files attached.

              Thank you

I used the patched file you provided and updated the BIOS with AsProgrammer, but it still plays the melody and no screen after. Am I missing a step or doing something wrong?

If you put back your backup laptop works? Maybe you didn't backup your bios properly.

I tried my backup after the second failed attempt and it works fine, laptop turns on and I was able to go to the BIOS settings without an issue, however the supervisor password is still there. Just to double check, do I need to do anything to the file you sent me or just program the BIOS with it?

It's the same laptop lol, I'm doing the firmware patching remotely, while freesofia is doing the hardware part. 😁 Thanks a lot for the help guys and sorry for the stupid question, it was our first time doing the procedure.

it means your bios has problem with ME_Region. Try patched clean_ME bios and follow steps from autopatcher.

it's ok, I just was confused about who to reply. Enjoy, now you know what to do, usually bioses are containing 64, 128, 256 in the name, that one with 80 is for thunderbolt, don't touch it.

First off I want to thank you for your help. Unfortunately this one didn't work either. I checked the error tone with the Lenovo diagnostic app and it's 0285 TPM initialization error.

Have you removed the disk? Anti-theft switch pressed?
