    ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
    Some issues
    A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

    Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-guide?t=88533
to no good results (same behaviour from the original BIOS)

    Things I noticed

Backup bios size : 8 MB
TP500LN donwloaded BIOS from this forum : 8MB
Bios for model TP500LA downloaded from ASUS support : 6 MB

    So, Im in need of:
    - A normal backup of a working bios for TP500LA (8 MB) for direct flashing
    - A merge from the ASUS webpage 6 MB BIOS and the part of the TP500LN BIOS that made it work
    - Repair or something my original BIOS

As of now, Im thinking to cut a part (2 MB) from the 500LN bios and merging to the 6 MB 500LA to make a 8 MB one, but I dont know how
    Thanks in advance

He was referring to the serial number, but it`s not TP500LA-DH71T , the serial is about 15 digits long

Flashed it and the notebook boots fine, but the easy flash option in BIOS is showing " please plug in battery and its remaining capacity should be more than 20%. System doesnt permit flashing BIOS. Please press any key after pluging the battery"

Pressing a key does nothing, the battery is internally connected already

Tested merge.bin. and worked flawlessly, the notebook boots as normally do, no delays etc. But now is has no serial number installed. I have battery problems and MyAsus app doesn´t recognize this machine (to try some calibration, etc). It is possible to re-add the SNID posted above? thanks

With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...

I’m troubleshooting an ASUS ROG Strix B660-I Gaming WiFi motherboard and I’m a bit stuck at the BIOS level. What I’ve tried so far
                      • Attempted to flash the BIOS using the USB BIOS FlashBack (Q-Flash) port with a properly formatted FAT32 USB drive.
                      • BIOS file downloaded directly from the official ASUS support page.
                      • Followed the exact FlashBack procedure (correct port, renamed file, standby power only).

                      Issue:
The FlashBack LED does not blink at all — no activity whatsoever. Further investigation

                      Because FlashBack didn’t work, I:

Asus K75V (K75VJ) Bios flash undo help needed

                      Hi forum members.
I hope you can help me with the next issue.
I've got an old Asus K75V (K75VJ) laptop, that I updated to Windows11.
The upgrade itself was succesfull, but had trouble installing new security updates.
After a lot of Windows troubleshooting and no success, I took a look at the Asus support site and found new Bios version.
                      K75VJ - Support
When downloading the bios update, the name of the download was "K45VMAS233", and made me causious and doubtful.
When I opened the Bios and loaded the file, I checked the current version and the...

                      Hi everyone,

I am requesting help with a BIOS/ME Region issue on an ASUS laptop. I have followed the "BIOS guides, methods, resources and tools" provided in the forum, specifically trying to clean the ME Region and updating the BIOS region to version 413, but I haven't been able to succeed, i've tried to download a the same ME Region v11.0.0.1180_COR_LP_C_NPDM_PRD_RGN.bin but not able to fit it since it is bigger than the actual size from the ME region of my chip.
