write main bios file provided by me and 1st thing to do is to reset bios to factory defaults, save, restart and password will go on. Then, in Main tab you have "set machine unique data" and write there what it's written on the label inside the bottom cover.Comment

Please, help me remove bios lock for HP Zbook Firefly 14 G9 with Serial# 5CG3161CFB
I am providing 2 bin files, one from each 25W256JVEN chip I found. One chip is located at the front and the other chip is located on the back of the motherboard.
I am not sure which files is needed, so I am providing both.

Thank you. The bios lock is gone. However, I am getting "Device in manufacturing mode" message on boot. Is there a command I can run similar to Dell's Alt-F to exit this mode?Comment

you can use hp tool BCU fill the further detail from bottom panel or from stickerComment

It took me a while to figure out how to install the utility and use it successfully but the manufacturing mode has been disabled.

The MPM counter started @ 35 and went down all the way to 1 but wouldn't go down any further until I provided the information provided by hoaca388 such "Feature Byte", "CT Number", etc.
Only after I provided all of this information, the message on the screen came up and asked me whether I wanted to submit this file. Once I answered "Yes", then MPM went away.Comment

Can someone please tell me what the part # of the BIOS chip is? I need to unlock my BIOS but when I opened the laptop, I see two Winbond 25W256JVEN chips (U367, U368) and I'm confused about which one is the correct chip to read/backup. Thanks in advance.Attached FilesComment

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -

I have an HP ZBOOK FIREFLY 14 G10 A (AMD) model with HP Blink Error 2-2 (Main area DXE of BIOS has become corrupted and no binary recovery image available.) I have tried BIOS recovery USB but it didnt work.
Tried using a "clean" bin extracted from the HP softpaq but laptop would not even respond to power button, although it had white LED on DC jack.

I've been working on this for about a week. I've read the threads and ordered and attempted to use a programmer to pull the BIOS dump from the laptop with no luck. I tried using RcUnlocker, but keep getting a dll error even after reinstalling the C++ Redistributable. I also tried NeoUnlocker and another program. None would pull up the chip.
That leaves me asking for help unlocking this BIOS. The laptop boots up to the Domain login with no issue. I can pull up the boot menu. Any attempt to open the BIOS or the BIOS upgrade menu is met with a password request....
