And you do it this way if the encrypted password is not same length as the Decrypt Challenge hex?

Hello
I have ASUS M413IA-EB848T laptop with startup password.
Board number is X421IA
I tried searching for AMITSE section in bios dump, but hex for password was not same length as the decryption hex from SMDFlea guide. (picture 1). I try 00 out the password and leaving 01 before the end (picture 2) but it not work. What is going wrong?, i like to figure out how it works.
BIOS dump is attached.

I missed to change the two bytes for "stable_device_secret"
does it matter which bytes you have to change? and how many?

Lenovo Chromebook IDEAPAD 5 14ITL6 Enrollment Lock Help
Hello i have Lenovo Chromebook IDEAPAD 5 14ITL6 that has the Enrollment Lock enabled.
I have followed guide to dump bios image and use hex editor to 0 out "check enrollment" and "block dev mode"
also first_active_omaha_ping_sent is 0 and should_send_rlz_ping is 0
after programmed new bios, i start chromebook with ESC+REFRESH+POWER
plug usb with recovery image in, chromebook installs new image ok
then restarts, i powerwash system then reboot.
Now i set up wifi and proceed setup but enrollment... -

apologies, it is for Inspiron 3780 and Vostro 3580, both model names are in bios dump.
I have Dell Vostro 3580 / Inspiron 3780, it no post, voltages are present on cpu and gpu and they get warm. Just 2 amber led flash.

sorry my mistake, here is the original dump.
Symptoms were only powering on for 2-3 seconds then off.
I attempted to rebuild the image using original Dell exe and PFS extract,
i put original dump in FIT tool, and replaced ME region and BIOS region with that from exe extract. This gave me the symptoms mentioned in my first post....Leave a comment:
