Dear Kouider, it didn’t work. After flashing, the laptop powers on, the keyboard light blinks, two orange lights appear on F5 and F8, and then it keeps looping.
What do you think about trying to unlock the one in the attached file? It’s the main BIOS that worked after the restoration.

It didn’t work. After flashing, the laptop powers on, the keyboard light blinks, two orange lights show up on F5 and F8, and then it keeps looping. I downloaded the files and flashed them, but no success. What’s the correct procedure? Should I erase first and then flash, or can I just overwrite it?

erase before programming, and also check around each chip for any resistors that you might have dislodged

UPDATE / SOLUTION

It worked!

• Erased MAIN + EC chips
• Flashed files from rex98
• 1st boot: F10 → apply factory defaults → restart
• 2nd boot: reset security settings to defaults → exit
• Installed BCU and restored saved DMI data

try this bios. It will enter in mpm. Reset security to default and write DMI with BCU. Or, after reseting security to defaults put back original bios.

I noticed there's a lot of unlock request for this model HP EliteBook 640 14 inch G9
The patch won't work if the bios version is latest. use this bin flash both it won't work if you only flash the main you should Flash Both.
first boot press f10 apply factory defaults and restart, 2nd boot reset security settings to defaults and exit.
use BCU and put your original DMI.

Files: HP EliteBook 640 14 inch G9 U75 CLEAN UNLOCKED MAIN+EC.zip

After applied these files Main+EC in the unit it Works very well, but I need change the MAC Address. And when I changed the line 1000 of Main BIN file with new MAC Address and re-applied these files in the Main + EC Chip the NIC stoped works with erro code 10.

Post your BIOS dump that actually working right now in your laptop and the MAC address what you want to have.
