I think you have some problems with communication between EC and BIOS.
The laptop started ok, the bios is good.
I wonder if this laptop had a bios password and the patching wasn't finished...
So, I suggest to patch my bios file with lenovo autopatcher, write it to bios chip, boot and follow the instructions then write back the file I have sent to you.
This must work.
I never check the exact model of T470...20HD or 20JN...before writing this bios and worked every time.
After successfully started the laptop always updated the bios to the latest version...

Hello!
Do it like this:
1.- Read MEC Chip (you MUST select MEC1633_256K - do not select MEC1633#ISP) - read 3x and compare content to ensure that the readout was successful.
2.- Erase chip
3.- Unplug power from board for 2 Min and unplug programmer also for 2 Min.
4.- -Write dump back that we just read.-Password Is now Gone
Remember to move R/W Resistor Back To Original Position For Normal Operation.
Then, boot from Lenovo utility disk and insert DMI .

Hi !
There is no difference between your uploaded MEC content and the factory one (attached)...they are identical.
The password is stored in the 2K EEPROM inside the MEC.
There are programmers (like SVOD 4) that can read the eeprom content separately and then you can delete the password.
If you don't have such a programmer you can simply erase and reprogram the whole MEC1633 and after that reinsert the DMI info.
This is my opinion.

Lenovo V340 17ML SVP removal method - ITE8586, I7-8565U
Hi !
I wish to know how to remove SVP from this model with I7-8565U CPU.
Try already the MEC method, read EC-erase-wait5 min-write back but password remains.
Obviously the Lenovo Autopatcher not working for 8th gen CPU.
So how to do it?
Thanks

Yes indeed you are right.
rex98 is one of my best friend here and I was surprised that his dump not worked...when yours didn't work also, that was the point when i begin to realize that the fault is on my side, not with the dumps.
Best Regards,
S.S....

Laptop started OK with this dump.
Pressed F10 -> Factory Defaults -> 2nd start - Security defaults then inserted DMI info.
After that the late start comes back
Again took 15 seconds to start up but additionally I got on error about ME corrupted....
Thanks again for your time.

Hello!
TGC comes from Trusted Computing Group the developers of TPM.
I think the firmware in the TPM chip was not completely updated and that's causing your error...
So first try to update the TPM firmware from a Windows, booted from USB stick.
You can download the firmware update utility from here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds503824-tpm-firmware-update-utility-for-windows-10-32-bit-64-bit-miix-520-12ikb-type-20m3-20m4-81cg
If that's not working only swapping/changing the TPM chip will help you.
This is my opinion...Good L...

Hi!
You can try unlock the bios by dumping the bios chip and post it here : https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubleshooting-hardware-devices-and-electronics-theory/troubleshooting-laptops-tablets-and-mobile-devices/bios-requests-only/78340-surface-4-pro-bios-lockedhttps://Hi!<br /> You can try unlock...s-locked
