    the crazy solution for Quanta R62 enjoy!!!

    Hi my friends, today I want to share my crazy solution for fun, because I can't find the circuit (I know I can buy it) but some challenge sometimes not bad,
    It's an HP 15 model “Quanta R62” and the 5V-always is missing, “NB669” It is faulty (and I do not have it in others mobo).
    My idea it is using the dual step-down controller from other mobo to fix this issue, and then I choose to use the dual step down controller for N5010 (RT8205BGQW).
    Why N5010? Because all necessary components are together in the same location (top side and bottom side: circuit + transistors + coils + caps).
    Soldering necessary signal “VIN, enable signal “and soldering the 5V LDO and the 5V always to the coil on the HP. Finally removing nb669.
    The result of my final work in the pictures.
    Sometimes fun is good lol.
    Hope that help someone or inspire others.

          hope nobody will be inspired with this, untill u have BURNED traces and u cannot repair that circuit

              Man it is for fun not a customer computer, it is my old PC,not a professional solution,like i say before it's for fun . thanks

                          Though a real crazy solution and hardly practical for repairs-but i salute your curiousity. Good job and well done as well.

                                          Hello , for some time I was studying Quanta U9x/8x schematics and the option to use both type of screen (LVDS 40 pin / eDP 30 pin).
                                          In some cases to use LVDS screen PCB use converter IC RTD2132/6
                                          Now I found an HP 15 F series U99 mainboard with RTD chip not populated and LVDS 40 pin lcd touch screen
                                          at the same time I have another HP 15 N series with Quanta U92 mainboard and RTD2136 with eDP 30 pin lcd screen (no touch).
                                          Maybe someone more experienced in the subject can clarify if is posible to change type of screen used with some resistors / bios options change.

                                          we're getting quite a lot wiped A1932 & A2337 from scrap with MDM (Remote management), we'd like to find permanent solution to remove it without CPU swap as it gets not economical, I found iremove.tools website which offer permanent solution, however if they got shut-down i believe laptops would also get locked? Does anyone have any knowledge about this service & about any other possible method?

                                          I want to find a solution, perhaps an ultimate, solution to this dilemma with your expertise. As it stands, the diffuser is too close, if not directly on the joint, there must be a way to separate without affecting image quality, I'm thinking with small glass strips or maybe pieces that make it a little distance, melan, them, or what do you suggest?

                                          I have an HP gaming 15-0013dx laptop , motherboard quanta G3HA with AMD Ryzen 5 cpu and Nvidia discrete grsphics card. The laptop turns on and u can see the screen polarizing on and off in a loop but no video signal. All voltages are ok measured and stable (I checked all with oscilloscope). This schematics don't have power sequence but I'm using a similar sequence from another laptop with AMD CPU and I get all to the point CPU must release apu_pwrok and apu_rst#, this signal comes valid only for the period of time the screen is polarized and they disappear and same loop behaviour (active/inactive)....
