Been busy like ever last weeks , repairing 7 I7 Desktops for one of my clients . When he offered as gratitude for me 5 Dual Cpus intel Xeon desktops , cause he thinks they're outdated , was too exhausted to even give an answer
Frankly , it's better to repair the charging port , but , if you want , there's another trick you can do and usually i apply this trick for unused batteries for a long period . So basically , this trick is to reform a battery since When the battery level drop down to some critical point , the system will reject it as a bad battery .
Anyway , with the tip of solder , pierce one hole in each side of the battery (the length opposite sides) gently to reach the positive and negative sides of it .
Use any 12v adapter , 3.5A. preferably , to charge the cells .
Since this trick wasn't...
Yes Grinch23 . Sis Boards and AMI Bios were quite limited in options back then , It seems the system keep a log of the previous Interrupt request and Direct memory access , in conflict with the ones saved by the Bios . Best course of action now is waiting for the adapter ISA , to provide inputs for mouse , Floppy and CD Rom . A reinstall of a fresh Dos 6.22 will need a good floppy and the set of five or six floppy disks .
A fresh install would also clear the current conflict . By the way , there are no jumpers for IRQ or DMA onboard . I checked for that visually .
Of course , you have...
Try to swap the ISA cards to different slots , and make it one card at a time only . Don't insert the next card until the first is recognized . Many restarts could be required .
Absolutely true .. A real nightmare back then . Specially with some dedicated PCI Cards which came originally with a specific IRQ that cannot be changed ....
I did some research within my documents and the only true match , Package and Code , refer to Ricoh R1121N391B , Linear voltage regulator IC
LDO, LN, 3.9V±2%, 150mA. The bar at left is a symbol for lead and halogen free and it's used by many manufacturers .
Okay , try this .. From Control Panel , system ==> Device manager , expand a category then right click on a device without its true driver , meaning just standard , then right click its properties , then click the Details Tab . Next click on Device description and next , From a long list there , choose "Hardware Ids" .. Right click save that and put in search on net .
First gain is , you would know exactly the hardware manufacturer , what type it is , and chances are you'll find lot of sites willing to give the drivers or compatible ones for free .. Just a notice , not all sites...
It doesn't need to be a Chinese model or anything else . According to my long experience , it's usually a case of blown speakers , cut and bent speakers wires and even wrong wiring sometimes . Next to those frequent cases , comes primarily the Amplifier sound main chipset , easily blown in many systems due to speakers wiring shortage . Unfortunately , there are no fuses for that . The main amplifying chipset could be one (most of the times) or two , and it's always screwed to the large Alu. sink you see on the device's rear . If you don't have a source of 12 v 10 A. at least , you can always use...
Somehow late to this thread , but yes , it's B6QP . The source company is monolithic power systems (mps) , a company very famous indeed . The I at left is a symbol for lead and halogen free .
Well , those are the good news but the bad news is , this company has thousands of similar 6/5 pins products and each one has its own specific code with no any found catalogue from the company itself or any third party .
Anyway , will keep searching .
The best course of action here is to let W10 automatic updates find the right drivers for your device , and which sometimes take quite a while . If this doesn't help then you can look for Intel Z3700 series drivers , sometimes available from Intel and even from other sites than Intel like Dell or Lenovo . just an example for W8.1 32 Bit drivers : https://www.dell.com/support/home/en...d=2121y&lwp=rt
Of course you may or may not find all the drivers needed , but there are many other methods for solving such issues , yet it needs lot of explaining and...
The problem here is most online Resistor calculators explain everything , well , everything except how to draw a decimal . Maybe some when reading this will put a fix or something explanatory ..
Anyway , the general idea is , when you see 2 consecutive gold color , it means its x,x ohms , higher than zero . like for an example : Red , Red , Gold , Gold ==> 2.2 ohms . When you see 2 consecutive Silver Gold , it means 0.xx , example : Red , Red , Silver , Gold ==> 0.22 ohms . The remaining color , if there is , will be for tolerance .
That's a standard 2.2 kohms thermistor . When I say standard , I mean it's difficult to identify the maker , so you need to find a similar maker while putting in search "2.2 kohms thermistor".
Thermistors cannot be measured because they are thermistors , and they depend on temperatures which is a variable . There is some specialized eq. to test them , but that's another story .....
Been browsing some hundreds of programs DVDs and CDs for some projects i'm deep into , and this program got my attention while at it .. It's called USB Lock AP 1.0 (YES, my version is old but anyway) . Its capabilities are amazing in locking different devices .. The problem yet remains as supposedly there are lot of similar ones ..
