pls can someone help me.i have acer aspire 5253, the problem is that the system charges to 100% but immediately i unplug the adapter, it will go off. i have bought a new battery thinking that it was the problem but to no avail. pls help me out.

Ok so it laptop charges battery ? It just can't run off battery ...windows see battery in windows? it run's find off of adapter.

In most laptops no matter brand there is usually 2 sets of mosfets. One set will be by charge port or nearby the other set will be by battery charge pins , you will need to check them. Without even looking at schematic that is best bet, Some designs only use one set of fets. Symptoms are if one of the side by side fet goes bad it will run off charger but not charge battery, if other goes out it will run off battery but not charger and if they have a bad battery this can be a bummer because laptop will seem totally dead. a pain to isolate unless you check fets.Comment

Yes i agree real easy to check with out schematic each circuit has a buck controller one large square coil and two 8 leg mosfets so locate them near the battery connector with no power to board at all put your meter on diode mode you need to check the four inner legs from left to right reversing your probes one way you should get a reading from 100 to 400 the other nothing if good .

Lenovo Thinkpad W541 Wistron LKM-1 WS MB 12291-2 Works from the network and charges the battery only when it is turned off.
If you press the power button, the laptop turns on and works from the battery, but does not take power from the power supply.
If you boot into Windows and close the lid while working, thereby putting the laptop into sleep mode, the laptop begins to charge the battery.
even checked it this way: I bring a neodymium magnet to the Hall sensor during operation - the screen goes out and the battery starts charging.

Hello everyone,
I'm facing an issue with my MacBook Pro.
When it's switched off, it charges while the battery is connected. However, when it's powered on, the charging stops after a few seconds.
Another strange thing is that when I disconnect the battery and plug in the charger, the MacBook Pro turns on and runs without any issues.
I've already tried using a different OEM charger, but no luck. I even swapped the charging port DC-IN, but the problem persists.
Has anyone else experienced this issue before?

Received a macbook pro which in notification shows 7 or 10 hours until full during charging.
have replaced ISL6259 and Q7055 and still getting same results. current sensing resistors measured fine @ 0 and 2ohms. what else could be the issue?
without battery i get 12.58V. i have physically shorted Q7055 drain to source to rule out issue with the mosfet and can confirm its still the same. any suggestions?
when i shutdown it charges at only 16.5v 0.5A. during boot PSU draws 2.5-3A suggesting it momentarily charges but drops to 1.5A power draw after boot. -

Hi guys,
I have a macbook A1502 that does not charge if the battery is completely discharged!!
If I unplug it and reconnect it to the motherboard it starts to charge well, and it charges up to 100% and works.
If I let the battery completely discharge, and connect the charger, the magsafe2 LED turns orange but it never charges the battery.
What do you recommend I try?
I tried to change the battery with a new one and the problem did not solve it​
