I corrected the error, flashed my original EC, and 32MB BIOS from hoaca388, for which many thanks to him!

Thanks, the BIOS works.
But when turned on, it shows the message "HP Endpoint Security Controller Problem"
I don’t know the password on the old original BIOS, the laptop wouldn’t turn on....

I'll add to my post above. I flashed the laptop with a set of EC and MAIN bios from post No. 6. The laptop began to turn on, which indicates that the hardware is completely working. But when you turn it on, the fan starts turning at full speed, then it stops and works normally. It also takes a long time to turn on, the screen is dark for about 40 seconds. This is understandable, since the BIOS is from another laptop. I can't collect a working dump from my original and the update from the site. Please help me. 2 original bios in the archive.

I have this problem. The laptop was completely working, I tried to unlock the BIOS password. I flashed the BIOS chip several times and the laptop turned on. But at some point the microcircuit failed. I ordered new microchips. The problem is that the laptop is now in a mode I don't understand. If I flash the original BIOS, the laptop turns on, but the screen flashes gray, red, green and blue. After which the laptop turns off. The indicator flashes white 6 times and orange 3 times. I read on the DELL website how to exit this mode using the Ctrl+Esc key, but nothing changes.
Here is my original...

he situation is the same as with the BIOS from this topic. The laptop responds to the power button, the indicator on the button lights up, but the screen is black. The power button lights up for about a minute, then turns off. In this case, the fan makes a couple of revolutions both when turned on and off. I think the problem is most likely somewhere in the diet. The LED indicator on the front of the laptop does not light up....

Hello everybody. Help with BIOS on Dell Latitude 5420 LA-K491P rev3. Stopped turning on after reboot. I think it was updated incorrectly. I downloaded the BIOS from this topic, the behavior of the laptop changed. When I press the button, the LED lights up, but the screen is black.

It seems I did this, but the password remained.
Thanks, I'll try it now
Yes, I've already done this. The password remains. I compared your file with yours. They are identical.
I flashed your file. The password remains the same.
I have been looking into this issue for a long time. But I still can't understand why this method fails to remove the password.Last edited by bykanovm; 11-26-2023, 07:04 AM.

Help me remove the Getag S410 password. I wanted to figure it out and unlock it myself, but all the above files for comparison were deleted.

Re: please help remove password dell lat.5320-8fc8
I've been waiting a long time. The indicator also tells me that the BIOS flash memory is damaged. Flashes 3 orange and 6 white.

Re: please help remove password dell lat.5320-8fc8
Very strange laptop behavior. I think that the 25B256DYIG chip is not quite suitable for this model. With your file, the laptop spins the fan at full power and there is no image. I recorded the original file to check. The laptop behaves differently with it. The fan is not noisy at all. But the screen lights up white, then red, green, blue. It's like there's a display test going on. I think that you need to select a different BIOS chip.

Re: please help remove password dell lat.5320-8fc8
I had a problem with the BIOS chip 25R256DYIG. It's out of order. I'm trying to find the same one. There is 25B256DYIG available, but with it the laptop turns on, starts turning the fan at full power and turns off.

Help me remove ST password: J1C35B3
have a script that deletes such passwords, but after the first turn on, I go into the BIOS, register the service tag, and disable Absolute. After which the laptop reboots, but there is no image. The keyboard backlight flashes and that's it. If you disconnect the battery and connect it again. You can only get into the BIOS once. Then there is no image either....
