It worked. The password is removed and there are no errors. -
I'm currently running a test. I split the EC BIOS image into two 16MB parts, patched the first 16MB part using RCUnlocker, and RCUnlocker didn't patch the second part. I merged them into a 32MB file. I'm trying to flash it.
But after comparing, I noticed that RCUnlocker cleared the data from address 37000, but slightly further than address 37380. I'll solder the flash drive and check.Leave a comment:

Hello. I have five HP mt46 R3-4450U laptops with motherboard ID 6050a3147201-mb-a01, and all of them have a BIOS password.
I read on the forum about how to remove it. I figured out that I need to replace the EC data area in the BIOS in lines 37000–37380 with FF.
Am I correct? I also noticed that many people are asking for DMI data after this. What's the correct way to do this?...Leave a comment:

When I flash the BIOS from the same model, the laptop says "the bios has recovered its identity data from the embedded controller due to data mismatch" when I first turn it on. After that, it reboots, the screen goes black, and the fans start spinning at full speed. The reboot loop continues with the black screen.Leave a comment:

With your BIOS, the laptop reboots three times, and then the fans run full blast again, and the screen is black. But I flashed the BIOS from a similar laptop, and the image appears. The laptop says it's restoring the BIOS, and then the screen goes black. Maybe you could download an EU BIOS and a BIOS with an image?...Leave a comment:

Hello. I have a problem: my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57-5423 laptop had its processor and hub replaced at another service center, along with repairs to the power supply and the multicontroller. After all the work, we requested a BIOS update. The problem is that the serial number in the BIOS now doesn't match 1234567890123456789012. There is no Asset Number, product name Aspire xxxx, manufacturer name Acer, and UUID ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-40c2ba345bc5.
The client has a box with seven data. How can I enter this data into the...Leave a comment:

There is no reaction to the button, the orange indicator just lights up. I don't know where to look anymore. It turns out that the laptop turns on once with the set of BIOSes that I posted earlier, not the original.Leave a comment:

Hello everyone. I got a HP Elitbook 830 G6 laptop.
The problem is that it doesn't turn on. When I connect the power supply, only the charging indicator lights up orange. There is no response to the button.
I found a tested set of EC BIOS and main 16 MB and 32 MB.
Flashed 2 chips. After that, the laptop turned on, an image appeared on the screen.
The laptop said that the memory was replaced, etc. After that, the laptop turned off and now does not turn on.
When connecting the power supply, the power button blinks white, the diode near the power connector blinks orange...Leave a comment:

With your BIOS the behavior is different - the laptop turns on the fan at maximum speed, and so it turns on and off, but there is no image. On my native BIOS file, the speed was always average. I also forgot to say that you can enter the test mode, when the screen shows different colors, both on the native BIOS and on yours....Leave a comment:

The problem was in the firmware of the multicontroller. I selected the necessary firmware for the 32Mbit chip, everything worked. I left the original 64Mbit chip.Leave a comment:

Thinkpad W541 Works from the mains and charges the battery only when it is turned off
Lenovo Thinkpad W541 Wistron LKM-1 WS MB 12291-2 Works from the network and charges the battery only when it is turned off.
If you press the power button, the laptop turns on and works from the battery, but does not take power from the power supply.
If you boot into Windows and close the lid while working, thereby putting the laptop into sleep mode, the laptop begins to charge the battery.
even checked it this way: I bring a neodymium magnet to the Hall sensor during operation - the screen goes out and the battery starts charging.
Also, the laptop does not turn on without... -

Hi all. The problem is the same as many in this thread. The laptop turns on and turns off after a couple of seconds. I flashed the BIOS from post #2, but it didn't give any results. Can someone fix my original BIOS?
