Yes, i am sorry. I should have been more specific. I was numbering them facing the tube from left to right. I am attaching a picture of the neck with the numbering, as well as the board.

Thanks for pointing that out Vince. I did notice this as well. It matches up with the spot on the metal plate that the boards mounting plate as well. (in attached pic)

have you had a close look at the soldering at that point on the main board?

you should see a low resistance between 6 & 7 - that's the heater element!

and check the resistance between ground and pins 21, 24, & 26 on the 28pin chip
            ground is on pins 11 & 22

Checked, All are about 390Ω.... Pins 6&7 on the tube is about 9.63MΩ. What about 3 and 6 @ 1.1 ohm, is that ok?

I do not think this is cause of current issue, just years of heat focused in the area. When this problem is fixed I will tidy up and re-solder for good measure.

This neck board replacement looks like the same thing: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/show...96#post3431996

He says its for D9200 later model chassis that used flyback 053X0658001. The numbers on mine are 6174Z-6005G ....
It sure looks like one in the same though...

lets ignore the heating resistor for a while and try to get the neck heater working.
leave the resistor off he board,
re-assemble the thing and see if your getting heater voltage on the neck-socket pins when it's on.

Curious, this guy is going to give me a pretty decent price, and the parts are NOS

you have no idea if that's where the problem is.
there is more than 50% chance that your neckboard is fine - and a good chance his is bad. (or he would be selling a complete chassis with tube)

that's not NOS anyway, it's a pull from a used monitor - fucker thinks we cant tell.
see the black sealant on the neckboard? that was to hold it on the tube!
and they did not cost that much new from WG last time i looked.

Yeah, he was selling NOS he claimed on ebay. He directed me to buy it from his site. He sounded a little squirrely after our last chat.
I ended up buying from a guy named Stan doing repair outta South Carolina. His listing is for repair, but he is sending me a whole new complete chassis, after the repair I am going to send him my old chassis.
                          Here is his listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/WELLS-GARDNE.../331961558856?

i just noticed something in your tube foto - where the hell is the convergence ring assembly?
did you strip it off or was it missing to begin with?

btw, you shouldnt be asking advice while buying things.
it could turn out that you have been sold a frankenstein monitor assembled from fucked parts.
makes me wonder if the rest of the machine works - if i was you i would hook a pc monitor to the video socket on the end of the Naomi unit and change dipswitch1 to "off" to select VGA

The Machine works fine, just playing blind. I hooked up a monitor when I got it home, plays great. I really wasnt worried much if it did or not though, I will be stripping all the boards and GDrom out of it. The only thing I am leaving is the Monitor (if i can get it working), and the audio amp. (and of course lighting coin mech etc...) I am not sure what you mean by "I shouldn't be asking for advice while buying things?" I asked because I was not 100% sure. After talking to the tech he assured me that their are two assembly's for the d9200, but either will work with my tube. Just trying to figure it all out. My main interest here was in the excellent cab to modify. I only paid $120 U.S. , and am very happy with it. I was ready to drop in a LCD/LED monitor. If I get her working that will be a bonus. The working Sega Naomi Main board, GD-ROM, IOboard, PS, and audio amp etc Is well over worth more than I paid.....

I know, seriously considered pulling this thing out and throwing it away and sticking in a 32" monitor. Too bad everything has become widescreen else it would have been a no brainer. Also I would be losing the retro authenticity not to mention bezel modifications and the like. I am hoping I made the right choice. I will know by the end of this week. If the monitor has any other issue I suppose I can ship the parts back and just lose my shipping charges, so not that big of a loss. On a good note I bought two LCD HDTV's today. I have one working (bad solder connection) and the other I have traced down a bad MOSFET. Hopefully thats all thats wrong with it lol

Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow. But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though. I picked it up last November from someone on my local Craigslist. It wasn’t very close to where I live, but was close to a family friend that I had to go visit anyways. So after watching the posting on Craigslist for a few weeks and seeing it getting...

                                            by ttmi100x
                                            Greetings everyone,

I have a HANNSG Hi221 monitor that exhibits two seconds to black issues (backlight goes off, display is still on as confirmed by shining a flashlight on it) with some additional oddities...

The monitor failed on me with a standard "2 seconds to black" some time ago prompting me to initially replace most of the electrolytic capacitors (some of them were bulging/leaking).
Things kinda sorta worked for a night, then the problem returned along with some flickering and "buzzing" noises.

                                            Upon closer inspection...

Look for the resistor value in the BenQ G922HDAL monitor's power supply

Hello guys, I had a problem where I didn't know the value of the burnt SMD resistor in the power supply circuit of the BenQ G922HDAL monitor.

In one of the parts, there is a burnt SMD resistor which leads to the LD7560GS IC as shown in the picture below.

How to determine the appropriate SMD resistor value for this condition? Thank You...

I'm working on one of the PSU's in my backlog today that came out of an NBA Jam arcade machine a year or so ago. The PSU is a Pan Yes brand with a model number PY-TV-C. From what I remember the 12v rail wasn't outputting anything. I opened it up and was reminded that the resistor at R28 had blown it's shell off and I have no idea how to ID a replacement for it. (see pictures) The color bands that are still intact a little are brown, black, missing band/bands, and what I'm assuming is silver. When I check it with my DMM it's reading 100ohms exactly but I don't know if that's what it's supposed...

                                            Hi Everyone

Lately I am experiencing the deja-vu incident on one of the led monitor like this.
                                            https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...lashing-on-off

The monitor is HP 27es LED Monitor
                                            https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Deskto...e/td-p/6804692

The monitor will randomly blackout and display no signal and will recover again.
Sometimes need to power and off again to restore the display but...
