Yes. That was the origonal problem. When I went to try momaka's post #2 idea.
I stated in post #5 that now no backlite, not even a flash.
    Thanks for helping with this.

There are 4 fuses on the board if the power light comes on the first one by the power supply connector should be ok but can you test the other 3. FS2 FS3 & FS4

Re: Westinghouse L2610NW 26" 16:10 LCD backlite problems

Never was a problem with to pwr lite.
        FS2 and FS3 .3ohms FS4 .4 ohms.
Just to be sure, with my 8" magnifer CFL lite again checked all solder joints and components = good, as I can see.
Going further, remover the Signal PCB, barcode; 26J1LR2000 M$35-D019965-L-$HTR7423000LH nice build with a metal cap.
also the Display barcode; CHI MEI optoelectronics corp. model A260J1 M$44-D018925-L$C11111G117X30341
Thinking I should learn how to take apart to check CCFL's..
No fun not being able to isolate yet.

Still would like to fix it.
          Post back when.

So a new inverter board fixed this? And do you have links to where you got it? Would be nice to have in case someone searches for it.

                USB problems?
                by Hondaman
Recently I discovered my SSD died (OCZ/Toshiba 240 GB). It was in a USB enclosure, attached to the Linksys WRT-AC1200 router. Since then I removed the USB enclosure and attached it to my Win7 PC (AMD 8150 CPU, 970 chipset, 64 GB RAM). I also gathered one or two other USB enclosures to figure out what is going on.

(I suspect that I lost quite a few MP3 and FLAC files I recently ripped from my audio CDs, I think I lost very little un-replaceable stuff.)

I think it is IMPOSSIBLE for Win7 to have any problems with a USB enclosure as long as Win7 knows how to speak to the...

Lenovo 11e problems (any sata hdds are not recognized, sleep battery drain)
                by clabr
Need help to solve some problems with this laptop.

After working in bed with it one night and heating up too much (probably the cause of this problems) the sata HDD OS windows froze
After restart the original Sata HDD was not recognized anymore (but works fine in other laptops or PCs)

Tried connecting other good Sata 2.5 HDDs but not one is working in this laptop anymore (not the original nor others)

Before this had happened I observed some other problems:
When I tried replacing original mecanical HDD with a SSD HDD could not get them...

Lenovo X13-Yoga Gen 1: hibernation problems
                by rumpumpel1
I have a Lenovo X13-Yoga Gen 1 that has problems with hibernation mode. When the laptop goes to hibernation mode - either via the start menu or after a time-out - after a short period of activity where the power-on LED flashes, the power consumption should go down to almost 0 and the LED should go out. Most of the time, however, the power consumption indicates further CPU activity and the power LED remains on, but there is no image. Sometimes the CPU activity stops after a few minutes, sometimes not at all. If the laptop enters this state, it can only be brought back to life by a long press on...

Vizio M557-G0 1/2 panel VGHD LC1 (and maybe XON VSSQ LC2) Problems
                by howardc64
                Failure Symptom

No Display. Just random blocks of grouped vertical red lines.
Disconnect right 1/2 panel (rear view), left 1/2 displays properly

                Masking T-Con Signal Diagnostic

Reduced masking to 5 signals on right 1/2 panel and get perfect picture

                Pins are

                1 GND
                2 VGHD
                3 XON
                4 VSSQ
                5 LC2
                6 LC1

VGHD and LC1 masking is absolutely necessary to get working panel. Didn't unmask 3-5 individually.

                Pictures and Schematic

                XON, LC2, LC1 are on AUO s302-21 32pin QFN...
