Hello,
as my system is dIsassembled i could make several measures. This morning and yesterday i observed that short-circuiting the pins 3-4 of rn2003 with the signals smb_data and smb_clk the blinking state disapeared and the power light blue was allways on and blue. Sometimes i had the same result touching the signal dramrst_cntrl_pch with the probe of my multimeter. Now The signals slp_s3 , slp_s4, all_power_ok are good. But on my system i didn't find the equivalent of the signal: all_system_pwrgd...
The motherboard is : husk_mb_11309_4m_48_4tu05_04m_WISTRON...and i have the schematics...

Hello,
i read somewhere that the 3d3v_s5, 3d3v_aux_kbc signals are established during all the states s0...s5, while 3d3v_s0 is present only for state s0; this explains the voltages measured.
But i don't understand why the system begins again and again the same sequence and doesn't stop if there is a default or a defectous component...
Thank you for your answers.

acer aspire v5 571p touching screen cracked led blue of power indicator blinks 1s lighted 3s off.
Hello,
on this laptop acer aspire v571p the led of the power indicator blinks blue for periods of 1s lighted and 3s off after switch on and this indefinitely.
i tried the hard reset, cmos reset, changing the ram without results.
in order to reach the cmos battery i disassembled the laptop and did several mesures with my multimeter.
The 19v, 5v, 3v are well established after the chip 5v-3v. the following signals : 3d3v_aux_kbc (which supplies the sio chip) and 3d3_s5 are well established also.
but the signals: 3dv3_s0, pw_slp_s3# and pw_slp_s4 oscillate at the same... -
display screen problems after changing motherboard
Hello,
First on my laptop i had a motherboard with a pentium 6100 processor. Installing w11 i was blocked on the 23h2 version...impossibility to upgrade toward 24h2 because the SSE4.2 functionnality of the cpu was missing. About displaying and screen looking all was perfect.
I changed of motherboard with an intel I3 processor...and now i don't find the previous aspects of the displaying.
Now i have a veiled screen and pixels are missing though the graphics parameters have not changed.
Desinstalling and reloading the drivers in the same time on the graphic card (intel hd... -
Hello,
Here are some more details.
When i used an external monitor connected to the vga port there are no problems.
In the settings parameters of w10, the refreshment frequency indicates : 59,997 hz while in the properties of the screen the value is 60hz; is this here the problem?
in attachments i let you the gpu-z and cpu-z reports if this could help you.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

laptop hp g72 b52sf screen problems
Hello,
on this laptop hp g72 b52sf i have screen problems as you can see with the photo joined in attachments.
the used graphic card is "intel hd graphics" and the id of the integrated screen is : "monitor/SEC3354".
i verified the driver of the péripherals and they are ok. i verified the definition and settings of the graphic card and of the screen : definition 1600x900 and refreshment frequency :60hz. (they are the sames for the graphic card and the screen).
i don't understand the reasons of the white stripe at the bottom of the screen below the task... -
Hello,
thank you for your contributions.
i come back to what was saying Per Hansson in the #7 post about the XD and NX bits...
in the bios of the toshiba pc i found a positionning : "execute-disable bit capability"....and if i switch it to "available" then the process of upgrading the pc stops with an error message (see in attachments) indicating that the installation of windows 10 is not possible because the NX fonctionnality of the processor is missing...this apparently is not what i expected to have because normally the dohan 740 processor like mine must...Leave a comment:

Hello,
Thank you for your answers and contributions.
answering to CapLeaker i made a try with another disk coming from another pc but it failed with a blue creen because this was a 64 bits version, i will try to find a 32 bits version in my surrounding.
i studied with care the answer of Per Hansson and i put here in attachments the reports of cpu-z which shows that my processor was a Dotham one 740...but in the article quoted in the link they indicate that may be, this last model of processor may be compatible for windows 8 and later :
i still prefer to stay with...Leave a comment:

Hello,
thank you for your answer...i am agree about the speed of windows 10 if eventually the upgrading succeeds...
A surprising thing in the bios is that there are positionnings about IDE devices while the hardware connector of the disk is SATA . (nothing also with sata AHCI positionning which is required for window 10).
rather than doing an upgrade from w7; if i try an installation booting on a dvd iso bootable w20 i have the same result: the process stops on the first view of the w10 logo screen...and then nothing is written on the disk...
i don't understand that.....Leave a comment:

hello,
thank you for your answer,
the cpu of the laptop is : Processeur Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.73GHz, 1733 MHz, 1 cœur(s), 1 processeur(s) logique(s)...
here you will find in attachments the msinfo32 and dxdiag reports in windows7.
This bios is really out of date; probably there is something wrong and incomplete for windows10, that's why i hope there is an update but i don't find it..?.
But booting in w7 even with ssd works fine; but in msconfig i realized that the system starts in secured mode...perhaps that's why it works in w7...

upgrading windows7 to windows10 on an old laptop toshiba satellite m40 331 allways in error
Hello,
on this old laptop toshiba satellite m40 331 i am trying (but failing) to upgrade frow w7 to w10 and allways i have the error : 0xc1900101 - 0c20017. The upgrading process stops with the pc blocked with the logo screen w10 on the display; then there is no activity on the disk hdd or ssd.
it's also impossible to boot from a dvd iso bootable, the device equally blocks on the w10 logo screen...
i verified the informations in the device manager and it seems there are no problems...
i wonder if it's not an issue about the bios (which is very old) or an interface problem... -
Hello,
Thank you for the link of "mcplslg123", it's very exciting, on my previous motherboard (with damage of water) i found and located the four resistors which are involved in the modification. As soon as i could, i will disassemble my laptop in order to swap these resistors.
With the software occct i tested my device, and never the temperature of the amd/ati chip was higher than 58°c. (but it was desactivated in the device manager).
in the forum "amd community" i read that sometimes this atikmpag bsod was a matter of ram ( it may depends of the brand...Leave a comment:

Hello,
Thank you for your answers.
I will seriously study your propositions of hardware modification; but i haven't the boardview file of the motherboard to locate tle elements...if somebody could give me a link for that i will be very pleased. (i allready have the schematics).
Here is the caracteristics of the motherboard : hp g72-b52sf, motherboard : P/N :01013y000-600-g rc8f32004ah1, product number : xf110ea#abh.
Probably, i will reflash the sp55430 previous bios, because the modded one doesn't bring nothing usefull.
i will try to send you the photos of the motherboard...Leave a comment:

hp g72 b52sf disabling dgpu amd/ati
Hello,
On the pc hp g72 b52sf w10 bios:sp55430 each time that i reboot after an update i have a bsod with "video tdr failure in atikmpag.sys" .That's a problem with the ati/amd chip because when i desactivate the amd graphics in device manager the pc can work on the intel graphics. But that's not a valid solution because each time i reboot i have the bsod.
I tried several drivers , even sp50704, to initialize this chip, but i have always the same error of bsod ,or error code 31. On my original bios sp55430 it was not possible to switch the Dgpu toward egpu because the advanced...
