Re: elektrotanya
Downloading from sites depend on how and what efficient ways to earn money . Experienced old Technicians know that .
Their policies , usually , change according to the advertising sponsors , and we cannot deny that , many times , those sponsors , turn to be phishing sites , sometimes worse than that , and it's then up to the Experienced old Technicians to know from where to download and from where to not .
It's all about money in the end ...Comment

Re: elektrotanya
The site seems ok to me, to register an account requires you pass about 5 simple electronic questions, I think you get one attempt a day. It is my experience that without registering for a free account you are not able to download manuals, I could be wrong there though.Comment

Re: elektrotanya
Yes you can, you're just limited to 2 per day (and you have to wait for some "processing").Khron's Cave - Electronics - Audio - Teardowns - Mods - Repairs - Projects - Music - Rants - ShenanigansComment

Re: elektrotanya
Has Elektrotanya gone to invitation only? My Hungarian is nonexistent.
The 2 per day seems to work fine. Granted it is irritating when you download the wrong one (especially when trying to find something similar to the one you really need.)Comment

Re: elektrotanya
Don't they also have an english version of the interface? Perhaps not all of it is translated (and what is, isn't always great), but most of what you need is in english, as far as i know.
Right above the login section, on the left side, there's a "Change to English" link, which takes you to this page:

Although i'm pretty sure the instructions are for AFTER you've made an account.Last edited by Khron; 02-07-2017, 12:18 PM.Khron's Cave - Electronics - Audio - Teardowns - Mods - Repairs - Projects - Music - Rants - ShenanigansComment

Re: elektrotanya
Going purely by logic and/or common sense, i found it quite easily.
In the same menu where the "Change to English" is, a few items above is "About site".
On that page, there's a bolded link saying "fill up a simple electricity test". That takes you here:

by Ziliconi've been working on the above PC for some time now, but the fault remains unsolved.
Behavior:
less than 2 weeks after the battery and keyboard of the pc were changed, the pc started crashing and restarting on its own. it keeps doing that at approximately an hour intervals, at times, it becomes shorter than that.
When it crashed, there was no BSOD of any kind; the power button did not misbehave; the pc did not overheat either.
what I have done:
cleaned the ME of the BIOS firmware, changed the thermal paste, removed all peripheral devices- (keyboard,... -
by jjkeviHi everyone,
I’ve run into an issue with my HP 800 G1 Small Form Factor PC after performing a BIOS rewrite. Everything works except for one major problem — the MAC address for the onboard network adapter is missing.
Here’s the situation:- Model: HP 800 G1 SFF
- OS: Windows 10 Pro
- Cause: After rewriting the BIOS, the system lost its original MAC address.
- Symptoms:
- Network adapter shows a generic or invalid MAC (or sometimes blank).
- No Ethernet connectivity unless I use an external USB-to-Ethernet adapter.
- What I’ve tried:
- Checked BIOS settings (no MAC override

by jerem57mHello,
I hope I'm in the right place to make my request. Now that I've made my presentation, I'd like to make a request regarding a 2017 HP Spectre PRO 13 G1 laptop. I have a lost BIOS password. I really don't remember setting a password on this computer, and after changing the battery, the computer no longer wants to boot without it. Can you help me remove the password?
I read on the forum that someone who had a model similar to mine managed to remove the password, so I figured with any luck I'd find some help here.
Exact information:
Product: X2F00EA

First here is how things went down.
I entered the bios and began to de-provision Intel AMT - it began with a reboot and then prompted me to de-provision AMT - proceed Y/N -
I pressed Y and hit enter, and I thought the PC shutdown, but perhaps it actually lost power at this point. I had the power adapter plugged in but apparently the plug from the wall came out of the brick when I wasn't noticing so 1 of two things could have happened…
Something went wrong with the process, or it lost power during the process and corrupted something
I tried making a HP recovery...-
