I have a jbl dps-10 sub that when you plug it in it starts buzzing and the longer you leave it plugged in the louder the buzzing gets. the service bulletin that came out says to replace 2 caps and resistors, but the caps I cannot find.
c6 is a 10uf 100v 4% elec radial npe c24 100nf 50v 20%mono ceramic axial.
if anyone knows where I can find these please help. thank you kenny... -

One coil energizes pulling the diagram to one end,then it shuts off and the other coil energizes pulling it to the other end. Then the coils just alternate off and on.Leave a comment:

The piston that has the diagrams on it will not be a magnet. The coil creates a magnetic field pulling the iron core in the center to one end of stroke then the other. If it was a magnet it would not move because of opposing magnetic fields.Leave a comment:

No I'm not sure the board was good. it was just for sale as is.the first board that I got with the receiver did not have any audio on it,but when I changed the caps it worked. I'm just asking what else I could check for audio. I did order an esr meter,it will be in sometime this week.Leave a comment:

ok I bought another hdmi board. when I hooked it up I had video and very faint audio. I replaced all the 100x4v caps and the 220x4v caps, but I still don't have any audio. hdmi or radio. the first board had good audio but no video . this one is just the opposite. is there anything else I can change to maybe get audio?

ok I have 1.8 and 3.3 volts on each chip. ok if I put the receiver in setup mode and if I press down on the genesis chip which I guess is the video chip, the setup mode comes on, I can read it, but it has streaks through it.
