Monday I'm going to remove the other two caps, check the other components under heat sink, then work on moving those wires, there is sufficient length on all wires. I'll snap a few photos, before , and after. I'll do 1 wire at a time.

I’d just relocate the affected wires, unless you just can move the whole harness underneath.

We have a green wire, and one wire from the harness in each, cap position, so I'll run the green under, and one wire from each side of the harness under, on both sides. Two of the harness wires can just be moved out of the way. Wire is extremely stiff, so caution will be used. It's going to go slow I don't want to damage a wire , and not know, I'll never find it afterwards.

Sure. You could drill a hole in the PCB at a more convenient spot as long as the traces you need are there and install a small post to solder the wire to.

Pete, that's all beyond my skill set, my luck I would drill into a trace and destroy a perfectly well cared for amp. After further examination, I will probably just extend the leads.

NO, we'll beyond my skill set. Probably going to take the chicken shit way out, and just extend the leads.

Yea after further, and closer examination, I can only relocate the green wire, other's will be well short, so I'm going to purchase a Kemet cap whose leads are 10mm, just like the ones I removed. They are a little pricey, but this is my amp so really no problem putting in a few extra $$$ in it. I'm not interested in selling so if I put more in it than it's worth it's ok.

Well sorry for the delay, we had our solar panel array installed, a little early. Surprised us. ILL be installing the caps, probably on thurs, after that, comes the big test. Wish me luck. Thanks guys for all your patience.

There are 22 panels, I'm not sure of exact size maybe 38in W× 53in L. It has to be inspected, then a new meter will be installed. Then it will be turned on. Do you like yours? Is it saving you money on your electric bill?

I’ve got a 9.5KW system, 39 panels. Never gave me trouble and I produce about 12 mega watt hours a year. I’ve had absolute free power until I installed 2 heat pumps. Now I have to pay about $1200 for heating and cooling the house, but for that I don’t need furnace oil that goes for $1.45 a litre in the winter time. I’d need about 1000 litres of that and burnt twice the amount of wood too!
The solar investment had itself paid off quite a while ago. Once all my kids are out, my electricity bill will be less again, than it is now.

That's great news, mine is definitely a lot smaller, but well covers our needs. We are excited to have our on line soon, inspection is next. Now back to the amp. I'm running into problems, first was the wires, now it's the caps leads length, and width. I need a cap with 10mm lead length, and also that same 10mm lead spacing. I Don't want to cut the board slots to make thes caps fit. They have the 10mm length, but only 5 mm spacing. What would you do. I'm thinking about just putting the old caps back in. I'll post a pic of the two caps. See what you think.

Hi, I'm seeing one 9V relay having temperature 40C on its 9V (primary) side. Does that seem right? I switched 2 relays on that board and the temperature was the same (on the same position), so I'm sure it's not a faulty relay. I measured voltage on that relay and it was 9.5V DC, so that looks good. I don't see any other relay on that board having that kind of temperature and they have 9V on them too.
I thought maybe the transistor that is switching this relay keeps switching on/off, so I also checked for AC and there was almost none: 0.3V using mV range. No steady frequency was shown, but...

                                            Hi everyone!
I have this board that suddenly stopped supplying power to an output that drives an interchanger cleaner motor.
I checked while the board was in place with all wires attached and there's no AC voltage on the corresponding plug X5
This X5 is driven by fuse F8 (tested OK) which comes from the second orange relay
To make sure there are no charcoaled contacts inside the relay, I got a 24VDC power supply and got it ready to manually power up the coil side of these relays.
I respected the polarity, positive to cathode of protecting diode

I was working on this CNC machine today found no keyboard functioning no control relay powering on
The screen powered on and was giving an operation error but the manual was not very clear about what the error exactly was but with a little bit of troubleshooting and finding out that the control relays not powering on and no keyboard functions we narrowed down to this one switching power supply which of course does not have any indicator LED light they are on the keyboard interface/relay controller board

                                            Hello everyone!

Recently I've noticed that some ShopJimmy backlight strips don't have double-sided tape installed upon them when an application calls for it, and I must purchase the tape separately. In a recent chat conversation with a customer service agent I told them if this tape wasn't applied when it was called for I would begin to consider ordering my backlight strips elsewhere. It looks like this time may have come.

I recently got a TCL 65S4 with bad backlights. After looking at the SJ listing here: https://www.shopjimmy.com/tcl-jl-d65...365as-m-led-ba...

                                            Hello all,

I'm stumped on this guy, so wanted to see if anyone has any further ideas:

                                            Intro:

This is an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-55M1 with unknown prior history (bought "as-is" on eBay). It charges the battery and powers on from both AC adapter and battery, so I think this rules out main power issues.

Upon attempt to boot, it will "reboot" (meaning powers down and then powers on again) only once, and then stays stuck in a status of lights on / no post / no monitor. Powering on with fn+esc maxes out the fans on first boot attempt,...
