Yea, I haven't got much done here, I still have a few components I want to check out before I test. Father's day weekend coming up too. Probable get back at in a few days. I hope you get all your work done as well. Have a great evening.Comment

Yea, I can't wait , my daughter makes a fantastic steak , and shrimp. Wash that all down with a cold one. Relax! That's my plans. Get out that grinder, and file, sharpen
those blades, makes it easier on you, and that mower. Have a great Father's day weekend. I'm going to get a few more components this afternoon. I'll let ya know what I find.Comment

Steak, and shrimp one of my faves.Daughter does it outside camp style, open fire, baked potatoe in fire, so good with Ice cold beer. Did you get any vibration with those bent blades.Comment

You're welcome to anytime. Plenty to go around. Bring my favorite with you, some Crown Royal. I got a few things over the weekend done. Replaced some caps on the Power supply, and a few that have that corrosive glue all over the place, mostly the big caps. Some on the control board. Then re check the components we changed, then I'm testing on dim bulb. Praying for a successful test.Comment

Do you know if the tester I use, can test components in circuit? It's the FNIRSI.Last edited by rccrasher65; 06-16-2025, 10:16 PM.Comment

Yes,I just did a little more research, and no, all components must be out of circuit, reason I asked I wanted to check those white plate resistors behind the 4 big main filter caps, hard to get anything back there. I'm not suspecting any damage, but just want to be sure!Comment

Yea , every thing is packed in pretty tight, just behind filter caps, and heatsink. I have a pair of long clip on grabber leads, so I think I'll be able to get at them. If not I'll just remove the caps , and replace them now , instead of later.Comment
